Swedish flamingoes massacred in frenzied anteater attack

A flock of ten flamingoes have met a brutal end at a zoo in Eskilstuna in eastern Sweden after a curious anteater broke into their compound and clawed them to death, leaving a further five birds nursing injuries.

I’m still laughing at that clip.
I rested all day yesterday, and had to go down to Walmart to get a prescription this morning, and ended up getting rained on. But I’m Sanforized, so I won’t shrink.
It’s clabbering up to rain some more, but I won’t be going anywhere any time soon. It will be nice to have the windows open tonight. :o]

My son called and bawled me out for not going to church, but I actually had to turn two invitations down.This YOUR son? Perhaps he's forgotten that YHVH makes house calls, or that His BEST works are MOST often done OUTSIDE the walls of the church. Wherever He shows up is the right place place to be; even if a pillow is involved.
Now, if I could get my brother to embrace the concept of showing up...
Stayed at my Mother's place for eight hours, yesterday, thinking he'd be there about 3:00pm. Finally left at 9:30 and he still hadn't pulled up.
WE had a good time and good food, but the kids were disappointed at not seeing their Uncle.
Foud out this morning he got there unscathed at 10:45. THAT boy!

But it wasn’t, there was one lone spiderbot in the dock area, she’d come to a very different conclusion on the meaning of “protect” the humans in her charge.
The overhead cameras almost didn’t see it happen.
