It is our sad duty at StarTrek.com to report the passing of William Campbell. The actor, beloved in Star Trek circles for his roles as Trelane in the TOS episode “The Squire of Gothos” and as the Klingon Koloth in the TOS episode "The Trouble with Tribbles” and the DS9 episode “Blood Oath,” passed away in the early evening of April 28 following a long illness.

I bought all 4 seasons of "Enterprise"...so there! ;^)
I liked “Yesterday’s Enterprise”. Again, I was never a fan of TNG, but they nailed it in several episodes. I don’t know the name of the episode, but there was one where Q takes Picard to the dawn of time and Picard touches a pool of water, causing ripples that changes the entire course of the universe.
I heard someone say one time that “DS9 was Days of Our Lives in Space”
I did watch, but for the most part I agree.
I liked Voyager as well. I thought the concept was sound, and I liked the relationship that developed between Janeway, and Chocotae (sp). He was absolutely her opposite on his ship, but as soon as the 2 crews combined he was fiercely loyal to her. I believe if they had stayed in the Delta Quadrant they would have ended up married.
Now i remember Trelane actually was a Q, But not our Q.
In the book our Q came across Mitchell and possesed him.
It was part of the plot of the book i read like 8 years ago, Q-Squared.
I forget 90% of it but i remember it being a big book, good read, something like 500 pages.
It was only one of around 3 ST books I’ve read but i would recommend it.
The last one i read centered around Bev Crusher. The book was a gift so i read it.

I think Enterprise is a great enjoyable series.
As with many people i did not pay much attention to it when it was in production and because of that it got cancelled.
Too bad, It really picked up in the final season.
Villains are the best roles.
That was the final episode.
Another good one.
Q saves humanity.
The thing with the ST shows is that i really liked all of the cast members minus the Crusher twins but i could not stand almost the entire cast of DS9.
I was lucky a few years ago to finally visit the Star Trek Experience at the las Vegas Hilton a few months before they shut it down.
Practically had the place to myself for a few hours.
got to walk around Picards bridge which was very cool, lot’s of props on diplay, giant ship models hanging from the ceiling etc.
Even got to drink a warp core breach with dry ice in it at quarks bar. tasty!
I went to take a picture of a Borg and the guy started ragging on my camera, He called it inferior technology.

I know Janeway had a husband/boyfriend back home, i wonder what happened with her and Chakotay.
She was mentioned as Admiral Janeway in a movie but i never heard about what happened to him.

The third season was a year long series about one enemy the Xindi, and various battles against it. In fact, the third year wrapped up everything so fully anything done afterwards simply wasn't and never could be good enough.
Enterprise was very good for the first three years with most of the first two years leading to the Xindi battle and the third year focusing on various parts of that battle. Once the Xindi battle was over, there was no attraction to return each week to see the next development in the story line. The first three years were mostly focuses on the Xindi theme either in leading up to the third year or concluding that particular story 'arc' at the end of the third year.. During the first three years, there were few 'elevator episodes' to hold down costs. Indeed, one such elevator episode with Commander Tucker and Lt. Reed stuck in Shuttlepod One was truly outstanding and highly regarded for it's character acting.
The fourth season lead off with the alien Nazis and never went anywhere. It had lost it's focus and had no distinct goal. It seemed like most of the year was a bunch of unrelated episodes which were unable maintain ones interest after the conclusion of the Xindi adventures.

I was thinking about the alternate universe Tholian web episodes which i thought was great, the explaination of the change of foreheads of the Klingons and the green Orion slave girls to be pretty enjoyable.
A lot of people believe the Xindi story arc killed the show, i thought it was great fun.
The Shran episodes were good too.
Shran was a great character.
The Inner Light was my favorite episode. It was so awesome in the last scene when Riker delivered the box with the flute and he began playing. Once of the best scenes I’ve ever seen on TV.

I remember reading that had ST gone to a fourth season, Campbell’s Klingon character of Koloth was going to be featured prominently as a running foil to Kirk. Alas, was not to be. He was memorable, nonetheless. RIP.
The Xindi episode arc was pretty intersting. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. Watching Archer change from wide eyed explorer to a tough, take no prisoner, leader was excellent to watch as well.
I also enjoyed the Shran episodes.
An expanded arc on the Temporal Cold War was in the works according to the “DVD extras”. I wish they could have gotten it done in season 4.
