One of my kiddos would argue with you that Jefferson was completely overrated and Alexander Hamilton was the man. Her dad goads her all the time about Jefferson. Yes, I live with history geeks.

They were such different types too. Hamilton was a completely self-made man and Jefferson was more of a Renaissance type.

It’s troubling what passes for reasonably intelligent too nowadays, especially in politics.
