No one should take what’s said on these type of post too seriously. The folks on FR for the most part like to turn a phrase or get a good line in when a good looking or ugly female teacher is caught in a criminal act. They should do the time if they did do the crime.
It's kind of like rape - if we are going to get screwed anyway, we might as well relax and enjoy it
I'd do all three! Laugh at the creepy offensive guy.
ain’t fair..............only thing I ever banged in High School was the erasers
That is the worst news I've heard in a long time. :(
LOL - thanks, that helps to erase the first image!
Typical...expressing a botched pagan worldview where rape is primarily viewed as "sex" (to be "enjoyed" of all things) vs. rape as first and foremost an act of shameless violence.
But, hey...way to go to bat for rapist perps out there!
Be sure if you're ever called upon to be considered as a juror in a rape case, to say something equivalent to the above...so that the prosecution would readily dismiss you as prejudicial in favor of rapists.
(I certainly wouldn't want you as a juror if I had a daughter victimized by rape)
Hey, that's the worldview our porn factories have been churning out; so it doesn't surprise me when so-called "conservatives" forward it by exporting it.
Prior to the Internet porn era...
...when universities were still able to conduct the types of surveys it did...
[when there were actually men who had been limited in their exposure to porn...so that researchers could actually distinguish 'tween "massive" "moderate" and "no" exposure to porn]
...UCLA found interview subjects -- people who could be classified into those three categories.
Then they asked them a Q (& I believe they asked it of both men and women): "If you were a juror, how many years' sentence would you give a convicted rapist for their crime?"
Result? The more exposure the interview subject had to porn, the less jail time they recommended for the rapist.
Just as bonfire/campfire sparks burn holes in clothing, our cultural sparks' burns holes in worldviews, convictions, justice, and sensitivity to allow room for compassion.
Zip up. You aren’t funny.
The media does not report this, but there are MORE CASES OF SEXUAL ABUSE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
The MSM keep harping on the latter and call it a crisis but seems to be pretty mum on the former.

TITLE :
Sex Abuse by Teachers Said Worse Than Catholic Church
There were 290,000 reported cases of abuse in public schools in 1991-2000. There were six credible cases of sexual abuse reported in the Catholic Church in the United States in 2009: six, in a Church of some 68,000,000 members.
“It’s kind of like rape - if we are going to get screwed anyway, we might as well relax and enjoy it”
Wow that’s the most idiotic thing I have ever read and I visit DU from time to time.
If she were my biology teacher I would insist on repeat tries until she gave me an ‘A’. I wonder what she gave extra credit for?
All of your comments in this thread show a godly righteousness. For those who care about Him and His Words, we all need to accept the admonishment.
If there is a single area of intense enticement for men, it is in the area of desiring intimacy with attractive women. The absolute worst time to deal with this in a godly way is as a teen male, surrounded by females, peers and otherwise, who can appear so perfect that you’d think angels in Heaven could not look more beautiful. It is the toughest thing to resist.
I know this is not how it is for women, though.
You catch the men in this thread showing their banal side, mentioning the things that would only have been kept inside or shared with other men in more private settings.
I’m not wearing any pants.
we can go down the list of great MEN in history and find that the great majority would not look too kindly on the excited public comments we see on these threads.

Some years ago a ferry overturned in the North Atlantic. One father used his own body to bridge a gap so his children and wife could crawl to safety. They survived. He perished.
This husband and father was a real man. Somehow, I don’t see faithful men who dedicate everything they have, and all of their daily labors, to the welfare of their wives and children, stooping to pick up poop in the gutter. And....That is what many of these posts have been:...gutter debris!
LOL. You cut a wide swath against transitory morality.
“A 16 year old in ninth grade??”
That’s what caught my attention. I graduated high school when I was 17.
It's kind of like rape - if we are going to get screwed anyway, we might as well relax and enjoy it
My comment was meant as a pun. - back in 1990, Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Clayton Williams sent his own campaign against Democratic candidate Ann Richards into a downward spiral when he compared Texas weather to rape: "If it's inevitable, just relax and enjoy it."
More than a few of us here on FR comment 'tongue-in-cheek' on attractive women teachers who seduce their male high school students. It is admittedly in bad taste, but many of us have fond memories of hyperactive hormones in our younger years and fantasies surrounding what amounts to real-life stories.
Admittedly, it would not be so humorous if it were one of our own, but let us have our 15 seconds of fun - however childish!
