Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.

I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.

I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

I'm wondering if she was dead before she left the house, and her body laid in the playhouse/sandbox area for some reason before she was ever taken from the house......but I would think it would have to lie there for a little bit for decompostion to show up.

I think she was dead when Casey left with her that day.I think she took the shovel to get the bag out of the trunk and toss it in the woods.Then she rinsed it off back by the playhouse -hence the odor hit-.

Regarding your theory - the neighbor said she only had the shovel for an hour (1:30 to 2:30 pm on the 18th). He doesn't say her car ever left, but maybe it is possible since he claims to have taken a shower after she borrowed it.

Neighbor does claim that neither she nor the shovel seemed to be very dirty. It's an interesting thought, fatima.....so many things that just don't add up in this case.

He’s really blaming Kronk! This is a riot! If this wasn’t a death penalty case it would be a scene out of My Cousin Vinny.

Is anyone out there starting to feel sorry for Casey? Even she is beginning to look sick of this.

Everybody including Baez seems to forget ther was a tropical storm that the rainfall from it created a “lake” where Caylee was tossed. With all the wind action it would create wave action in that “lake” All sorts of things would have been moved around

Good question - I'm thinking Baez learned a lot over the past few years from Casey about how to lie!

Give yourself a break. Do what the jury is doing by now. Tune out. Baez is trying to cover too much. Most of it is going in one ear and out the other by now.

Sometimes people need to learn how to have the best affect in fewer words. I know I get tired when people run on and on. I always say, say it, get to the point, please. LOL

Could be Baez wants to throw this into next week. After all, prosecution will get rebuttal after Baez is done. Could be the defense is worried that if the jury gets this today, they will opt for a quick verdict so they can go home. And who could blame them?

If Kronk’s only motivation was reward money, why would he WALK AWAY from reward money after he made the earlier phone call? This argument, like all his others, makes no sense.
