Have any of you thought about this? The Obama Library? And where would it be built without threats of stopping or interfering with the construction? If Obama seriously thinks he deserves a library to be constructed in his honor, he needs to move back to Kenya where they will build a shack in his honor (made from hardened composted cow manure)

They can just rename the prison library at Leavenworth in his honor, since he may be heading there.
Haven't you heard? Obama is so popular now, the Kenyans are insisting that he had to be born in America. They don't want the blame for him.

Presidential libraries are depositories of non-classified records pertaining to an administration. Everything a president writes as president, signs, speaks, etc etc is the property of the United States, as well as certain gifts that a president is allowed to use while in office, but may not keep after leaving office. GW for example was allowed to keep bicycles given to him by Trek and Cannondale while he was the president, but they became the property of the USA when he left office, and are maintained and displayed by the National Archives and Records Administation at his presidential library.

I’d rather have him build a library in 2013, than a socialist utopia. Look at it this way, those Presidential libraries are built with private money. Let Bill Ayers, Reverend Phleger and Reverend Wright build him a huge monument to himself. I could care less. What really scares me is this current tradition in the Navy to be naming our aircraft carriers after Presidents. Does this mean that someday we’ll have a U.S.S. Clinton and a U.S.S Obama? That should wake you up at night in cold sweats...

They should put it in the old Cabrini Green site on the South side of Chicago. Of course no sane people would go there except the Amish and white liberals. Any “payback” the liberals get when entering the South side is fine with me.
