Open wish: Governor Palin declares, with the specific goal of causing a brokered convention.
(Stubborn Palin supporting vanity)

Posted on 12/19/2011 8:06:53 PM PST by Cringing Negativism Network

Today I read several intriguing stories Palin had floated the idea that it's not too late for someone to enter the GOP race.

Read one on Drudge, and saw a couple right here.

Suddenly I felt that old optimism return. And would like to mention something as an open suggestion, I did not hear in the speculation and obligatory "she's not running" comments:

There isn’t a single “tea party” candidate in the running. If Palin would enter the race, she would be it.

I agree. I was the biggest fan of palin myself. She said shed be there if the country needed her. She said that for years. Her family was trashed for all of those years. She knows darn well that a ton of conservatives were sitting here with time and money to make it happen for her When she ran. She popped up in Iowa last summer and the cameramen left Romney and the pack in mid smile to cover her. She thanked iowans with the coolest campaign vid I’d ever seen. she bought a compound in AZ.

And then suddenly she decides not to run, using her already tarred and fathered family as the excuse?

The only good reason to do that was either blackmail or sell out. One means maybe she still had a few less forgivable skeletons, and the other means that her dedication to the country is smaller than her desire for pundit paychecks.

I don’t know who Sarah palin is any more. I adored and admired her. Now I’m just confused.

I would really like to believe you’re wrong about that.

Been wrong myself before. That’s for sure.

The current field does suck! I’ll admit that

No one on the Right wants a Milquetoast Moderate Pubbie. A vote for a RINO is a wasted vote. Might as well vote for a dirty, demRat.

As a Conservative Alaskan who has to live with the unintended consequences of her ACES/AGIA debacles; I know Palin is all about Palin.

Heretofore, she needs to reignite her celebrity.

Not this shit again. Just let it go.

That is what I think too. Is she right on the issues? Yes, but so are many many others.

She strikes me as a two year governor who hit the fifteen minute media fame lottery and is going to milk it for ever dime she can get. She is politics version of Kim Kardashian.

I wonder why others can’t see the obvious?

Not This Sh*t Again.

Right?

I think this is the fourth "OMG, Sarah might run after all!" thread I've seen today.

If it was a trial balloon, hopefully it got the right response... :D

If the convention were to be brokered, does the R party have superdelegates?

I’d vote Paul rather than Romney.

Thankfully that will not be the only choice. Paul is nuts.

Maybe it’s the same reason people can’t see past a serial marital cheater, an influence peddler and a long time inside the beltway DC hack who paid for his Tiffany Diamonds with Freddie Mac “History” lessons.

NO, SHE WOULD NOT. The one candidate who can’t beat Obama. SHE IS TOXIC.

If a majority is needed to win nomination you just might get a brokered convention yet.

Oh man, I love when this happens. All this hissing, spewing, weeping, moaning and, what’s that other thing. Dang! Can’t say that here but it rhymes with “hissing.” If Governor Palin shows up on the ballot opposite Barry, I’m voting for her. Not only that, I’d like to see her on that ballot. In fact, I’d welcome her being there. Get over it!!!

I don’t believe Republicans do superdelegates.

Anyone know definitively?

Paul Ryan could excite and unite the party in a brokered convention. But a brokered convention seems like a pipe dream .
