Self-regulation of the immune system suppresses defense against cancer
Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres ^ | December 21, 2011

It is vital that the body's own immune system does not overreact. If its key players, the helper T cells, get out of control, this can lead to autoimmune diseases or allergies. An immune system overreaction against infectious agents may even directly damage organs and tissues.

Immune cells called regulatory T cells ("Tregs") ensure that immune responses take place in a coordinated manner: They downregulate the dividing activity of helper T cells and reduce their production of immune mediators. "This happens through direct contact between regulatory cell and helper cell," says Prof. Peter Krammer of DKFZ. "But we didn't know yet what this contact actually causes in helper cells." The researchers' hypothesis was that the contact with the Tregs affects certain steps in the complex signaling cascade that leads to the activation of the helper T cells.

If the T cell receptor, a sensor molecule on the surface of helper cells, senses foreign or damaged protein molecules, this will trigger a cascade of biochemical activation reactions. At the end of this signaling cascade, genes that are required for an immune attack will be read in the nucleus of helper cells.

I’ve been saying this for years. If they look further they will see that it is an allosteric enzyme that is suppressed in the liver that creates the immune system suppression.

If they want to really open Pandora’s Box in medical research, they should look at the epigenetic effects on enzyme activity. It will provide a lot of answers on cancer, MS, ALS and many immune suppression diseases.

Following Treg contact, the typical release of calcium ions into the plasma of helper cells does not occur.

In the English language usage of medicine and biology, plasma is the fluid part of blood and lymph, not the formed elements, i.e. red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Maybe it was lost in the translation from German.

The fliud content of cells is called cytosol from the solution portion of the cells minus the cells' organelles, e.g. nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, etc.

The DOI from the press release gave me this citation:

Human Regulatory T Cells Rapidly Suppress T Cell Receptor–Induced Ca2+, NF-(kappabeta), and NFAT Signaling in Conventional T Cells

N.B. The Greek letters for kappa and beta that modify that particular nuclear factor, NF kappa beta were not copied.

FWIW:

“The cell membrane or plasma membrane is a biological membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment.”

I think that many reseachers are beginning to trip over their own imaginations.

Cancer is mostly a dietary/nutritional disaster.

Eating a diet that maintains alcaline, oxidative metabolism always quickly cures any and all forms of cancer, so why do we need all these “auto immune” visions?

Just googled plasma membrane ~ 8.5 million results
Just googled cell membrane ~ 12.5 million results

plasma

Wikipedia had no entry for plasma membrane. If the presser used cytoplasm, it would have been correct, but a cell's plasma is misleading. Plasma is extracellular. Intracellular fluid can be referred to as cytoplasm or cytosol.

Whose cancer has been so cured?

Serious?

Thousands do it every year, on Budwig or Gerson diets. Some do it on more conventional diets and hydrogen peroxide (food grade only!).

Any diet that completely eliminates false fats like margarine, and polyunsaturated fats, will eventually work.

Do you really believe his piss cure works?

First, its not 20 min of bruzynsky.

Second, the record says his methods (all of them) work. He has the highest cure rate, and satisfaction rate of any MD in the western world.

The video is about the relentless attack by the Texas board, and is narrated by a lawyer
