Get her a paint ball gun to “touch” kitty. That’ll do it. And minimal if any harm at all to keteh. Perhaps even an airhorn so that keteh associates her yard as a threat.

It might work. But it might be easier to plant catnip in your own yard. A stoned cat is a happy cat with less need to wander.

You can't keep her out of the neighbor's yard, sweetie.

If you love your cat, keep her in the house. If you don't, sooner or later she will be hit by a car, poisoned or meet some other dismal fate.

She is a good neighbor. Her “or else” comment was that she would call animal control and trap Sweet Pea and let the pound take her away.

Not that she would do that - she has cats herself. (Indoor).

But still... I want to resolve this problem

My kittehs--a 15 1/2 year old Grumpy Old Man cat and 2 18 month old Little Girl Sister kittehs are all indoor cats. They have never spent any time outside. They have windows to sit it and watch the birds and traffic, and they seem quite content and happy.

One neighbor had the decency to speak to you. Not everyone is this civilized. There are plenty of creeps out there who do horrendous things to small animals, and in some places, there isn't any legal penalty because pets have no $$$ value.

Keep your beautiful kitteh indoors. Play with her. Keep toys available (ping pong balls in the bathtub--Kitteh Pong!!!). Make kitteh spaces where she can climb and watch you from somewhere near the ceiling.

Indoor cats are safer cats. The cat should not rule the owner even if its aggressive in wanting to go outside. YOU are the boss!

An owner has a sacred responsibility to keep his cat safe and in good health.

We're talking 3-4 years life span for an outdoor cat versus 12-15, even 18-20 years for an indoor cat according to statistics....and statistics don't lie.

Free-roaming cats are placed at great risks by many dangers to life and health:

Being hit by a car
Being poisoned by chemicals including lawn maintenance products, anti-freeze or rat poison
Contracting feline diseases
Being killed by dogs or outdoor wildlife
Being abused by humans....being shot, beaten or killed
Being stolen
Getting lost

Provide your cat with a scratching post, a seat by a sunny window...and lots of toys. Consider getting a feline "buddy" for him to play with.

After a period of transition, your cat will be perfectly content to be indoors and you will be acting as a loving and RESPONSIBLE owner.

Nice cat. It’d be a shame if you lost her.

" A stoned cat is a happy cat with less need to wander..."

And no matter how many times I tell her that, she still gives me the evil eye when I get out the rolling papers ;^)

Yes, the guy that does the video is a big time idiot.

But the Honey Badger itself is pretty funny. It just eats things.

Are you kidding? The Mrs has 16 of the little furballs (12 indoor, and 4 semi feral kitteh's). Scratching posts don't work, sunny spots get in short supply, and "buddies"? I don't think so.

Of course, we have 5 acres for them to play on. All except the semi-feral kittehs stay on the property.

BTW- We don't own cats.......they own us ;)

That’s not the first time I’ve been accused of that especially when I have said things in jest!

Dittos on keeping them inside. I have a couple of older cats
who have already learned to tread lightly on the furniture.

They sleep except when they are fighting each other, scratching at the post, watching the neighbors cats
looking out the window, or watching NHL Center Ice.
(Older cat is a Wings fan).

She said she has tried cayenne pepper

Personally, I prefer garlic and lemon for cat...

Keep your cat in the house,Why do cat owners think the world owes them freedom not granted to other pets?We trained our cat after is was weened to walk on a leash and be on a chain outside same as a dog.People were amazed to see my daughter walking downtown with her cat on a leash. If some nieghbor cat kept coming in my yard, the cat would soon be missing.Keep it in your house or on a leash.

You could walk Sweet Pea on a leash and please post a video of it.

From post 13; GraceG:

Take a washbasin and wash the cat in your neighbors yard (with neighbor’s permission) and wash the cat several times in a row over there, soon the cat will associate her yard with getting washed and it will stay far far away from it.

I've never heard of this and it won't work if your cat doesn't mind baths but it sounds plausible. Please let us know if you try this, I'd love to know if it works.

I Googled this: 10 Cat Repellents: How to Keep Cats Away From Your Yard

Unfortunately, the only ones that sound good is #4 and #10. The problem with #10 is if she has cats, it might annoy them.

These guys have better ideas

Have your neighbor have a hose near by and a couple of soaking with the hose should keep kitty out of her yard...nothing worse than digging to put some flower in your yard and dig up cat poo.....
