Anything you do for that neighbor you’ll need to do for all of them. Keep kitty inside. They simply are not wild animals to be left wandering around.

A neighbour installed one of those motion-sensitive sprayers, you attach to a garden hose. Not only do they work on cats, deer, racoons, crows, etc. -- they are also almost as much fun as a bug zapper.

soon the cat will associate her yard your entire state with getting washed and it will stay far far away from it all the way over the border in Canada.

Fixed.

Spray some coyote or cougar urine at the yard border. You can buy these urine sprays online, just google it.

My friend washes her cats in the bathroom and the cats just avoid that area of the house like the plauge.

Keep the cat indoors, it is better for the cat and neighbors.

Now I did see (online) that.

It’s called Shake-away. Or something like that.

If he’s out, he wants in. The second he gets in, he wants out.

Yours too? LOL. I find kitty so entertaining.

We live in a port city. Rats would be a problem without cats. There were rats in our block when we moved in several years ago. Our two cats soon took care of them. Every now and then, someone tries to get bylaws passed requiring cats to be kept inside. They don’t succeed, because most people are aware that a port city needs cats.

I have had that problem with cats in the tomato garden, not mine, she is a total house cat.
To keep cats out of a flower bed or small area, just put some orange peels or grapefruit peels in the area. Put fresh ones out when the old ones dry out.
This works. Most of the stuff you buy to keep cats off furniture or off other things is made from citrus oil.

It might work. But it might be easier to plant catnip in your own yard. A stoned cat is a happy cat with less need to wander.

That will just attract coyotes or cougars to come over and eat the cat!

Well, I guess that could solve the problem as well!

My indoor/outdoor cat loves to play with local foxes (that I unfortunately attracted with foxP).

But I am holding my breath that the local coyotes I hear almost every night won’t sneak up on him!

“like the plauge.”

I avoid the “plauge” too! Hate it! My girl katz stay inside. Cats don’t have a good grasp of roads and traffic. Terrible way to lose a beloved pet!

Maybe kill the neighbor and hope the new ones are more cat friendly?

Now that's funny. I was also thinking along those lines.

We have four cats, one of which is an outdoor. I know that he "goes" in the neighbors yards, but they don't mind. Since we've had him the strays have stopped coming around. He's cleaned up the neighborhood.

My standard reply.
All kittehs should be indoor kittehs unless they’re on mouser duty in a barn away from a road or other predators. Letting a cat out in a regular neighborhood is a bad idea.
1) They get hit by cars.
2) They can have more than one home.
3) They do do their biz but they usually cover it up but how much can a kitteh leave? I can’t believe it’s a Saint Bernard load.
4) They live longer, average outside lifetime is around four years I believe VS fifteen or more indoors.
5) Someone thinks it’s an abandoned cat and keeps it for themselves.

You are of course free to do what you want but if your neighbor is complaining about cat sized loads, they might ‘accidentally’ leave some anti-freeze or other poison around; her “or else” comment.
Is she a good neighbor otherwise? You know how some people need to have drama.

BTW, that’s a good looking kitteh.
There are additions you can add to your fence that stops them from being able to go over them but if you let em out the front door it’s kind of pointless.

That is a cool idea although I can see the “get outta my yard you kids” type having them pointed towards the sidewalk.

I generally don’t like the idea of the cats being outside, but one of my cats just insists, and won’t shut up until I let him out.

I make an exception for him because he is a big, tough cat. He grew up in Wyoming with big dogs and antelope and can handle himself fine.

The previous owners had him declawed (sad), but he’s like the Honey Badger, he don’t give a shit. He’ll chase anything. Stray cats, possums. No animals come in our backyard anymore.

He likes to sleep on our patio even when it’s cold, and he greets me at the door everyday when I get home from work. He knows the sound of my car.

Haven’t had any complaints from neighbors yet.
