Survivor: One World is the 24th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, February 15, 2012 on CBS at 8/7c.
'Survivor: One World': New cast and new twists revealed!
There will be no returning players this season.
As with last season, this season will take place in Upolu, Samoa. Along with Survivor 19 (Samoa) and Survivor 20 (Heroes vs. Villains), this is the fourth season to take place at this location.
Both tribes will begin the season by living at the same camp site.
The tribes will be divided between men (Manono) and women (Salani).
Each tribe will have a Hidden Immunity Idol for them at camp, but the holder of the Idol can not use it for themselves or for their tribemates. Instead, the idol can only be given to a member of the opposing tribe to use.
Leif is the first little person contestant.
Monica is the wife of a former NFL football player.
Manono Tribe: Bill, Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Matt, Michael, Troy
Salani Tribe: Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kim, Kourtney, Monica, Nina, Sabrina

He didnt have to have surgery. He said that he had some kind of bacterial infection.It was treated in New Zealand and in the US. So no appendicitis.
Appendicitis can kill you so I think it would be prudent to pull him out. But wasn’t there a season where someone left to be checked out and then came back???
Yes someone did get pulled out to be checked out and did come back I can’t remember who. Also there was someone who got very dehydrated but he got voted onto the jury and showed up to the jury with an IV bag as I recall. I think Jeff wanted him GONE. At that tribal when Colton got all over Bill, Jeff looked pissed to me. I also think that’s why he mixed up the tribes to break up Colton’s power. Heck he even helped carry the stretcher out!
If I had been on the tribe I would have asked somebody to set him on fire just to have an excuse to pee on him. (sorry ladies)
Colton and Alisa are cruel. I hate cruel people.
Time
I think the key in medical emergencies is time. If it’s something that can be fixed fairly quickly they get to stay in. If they have to be gone for like an afternoon they’re out.
But most of the evac’s required a trip to the hospital so the individual could be checked out - so they were out.
Remember Russell Swan (?) eyes rolling around in his head? He was out and OUT.
Just a note - Colton did say in one of the exit interviews that he wanted to give the II to someone on Salani - the other tribe - but was told by production staff (Jeff?) he couldn’t do it.
So maybe the little act right before he was hauled off was a little show of flipping the bird at the oddballs.

I so wanted Colton to get voted off...not medivaced.
I hope they tie Alicia to a stake and burn her as penance for evil.
Karma took a well deserved bite out of Colton but it’s going to be a bit boring without his jaw dropping antics.
I’m the one who should be saying thank you to you and others. I realize that I fall far short of my predecessors cuz and Jill and I’m therefore all the more grateful for your support. :)

Chelsea...I guess. Maybe Kim, she seems to be growing.
I was liking Monica but idiot Colton got her booted.
I like Matt, tall dark and he keeps his mouth shut.
I hope they fry Alicia tonight but if you fall for the commercials then it may be Greg going home since he cast his alliance aside. If that's the case then no more Speedo!! As much as I hate that Speedo I despise Alicia more so I hope it's her sent on the walk tonight.
The guys still can’t get it together.

I had a good laugh reading the review at Survivor Central. Yep ... it’s poop and he didn’t think twice about tossing them into the pot with other peoples clothes. Too bad they didn’t fall into the fire and just burn up. That would have solved everything!

Not to be a downer, but this may be my least fave season of Survivor. Some complaints I have carried over, some are new, to wit:
- there are no people standing out as people I can root for. They all seem to be astronomically stupid and craven.
- it is less and less surviving and more and more “big brother.”
- jiggle, jiggle, jiggle
- now added: The gross factor! Thanks there, Speedo.
While I don’t expect all entertainment to be highbrow this is getting beyond the pale.
So no, I don’t have a favorite. If I had to choose I’d pick the black woman high school teacher, who has impressed me so much I can’t even remember her name! But she seems halfway normal.
Also, while Leif does not seem very mentally strong or innovative, I appreciate his attitude about pitching in and giving his all without using his height challenge as some sort of playing chip. I respect that.
Where's Russell when you need him? He'd have made those nasty things disappear pronto. Those skid marks should have been booted right then. Why are those people putting up with him? What did Jonas ever do to deserve the boot??? If not the blue speedos then at least get those equally nasty tied up squished boobies of Alicia's outta there. Ugh, ick, spit!
Ah ha! I knew it was too early to go to merge. Good grief, why merge if you're going to split back up the very next challenge? Jeff, that made no sense.
It was a ho-hum episode without Colton's antics. What's with Jay playing up the women? Is he stepping in as Colton's nicer brother? I don't have a fav. Christina is about the best there but her time is short with no one liking her. Hubby likes Kim but I think he's just having evil fun watching for her mustache.
