Why did all the leaders went for Obama light, instead of the REAL conservative. Most disappointed in Adam Putnam who is a conservative. - or was.

Republican Party of Florida, you RINO loving MORONS,don't be surprised if you lose. We want a party that will defend our FREEDOMS not a party that will make us lose it. We have the Dems to help us lose our freedoms - we don't need RINOS. RPoF...you disgust me. You made your bed, don't be surprised if Obama win if Romney gets to be the RINO party choice. You suck...RPoF!

FL was never a conservative state. Obama won in 08, Gore almost won in 2000, RINO Crist was well liked until he became a sore loser, Meek + Crist together had more votes than Rubio even in the huge red wave of 2010.

Everyone please excuse my French:

FU, Romney. You might be smiling now, but your day is coming. The MSM will reveal you & your religion for the pack of wackos that you are. Hope you had fun using your Alinsky tactics against Newt, because you’ll soon be getting a taste of your own medicine.

I’m so angry with FL right now that my head is pounding.....,

Florida.

It is what it is.

It went about as expected what with 99% negative ads from Mittwitt (16 million bucks or so).

I will be watching down the campaign road if it is tight for Mitt. I would not be surprised if RNC “restores” the full delegate count if it will help him.

We will be watching...

Shocked at the overwhelming margin, but Newt did not have a good week....it became pretty clear in the past five days he was unlikely to win. His debate performances were probably his worst, and he just didn’t seem to have a theme in Florida. His speech on Saturday night was brilliant, as were some of his other performances, but only a very small percentage of voters would know that. Newt’s advertising was not effective enough to fend off the money or attacks sent his way.

In the end, this is sad and disappointing, but the candidates have to find a way to work through the sludge and communicate an alternative worth voting for. Unfortunately, his campaign lost all the momentum coming out of that South Carolina win.

Some counties tend to be more conservative but no Florida is not really conservative anymore; too many illegal aliens and retired/relocated libs.

Don’t assume it was Florida’s fault. All of the candidates in both parties are flawed. None of them are really worthy of a great nation.

The problem with Florida is that all the state elections typically get the hard right conservatives out. The presidential and national elections bring out the “moderates”

48 states to go. I am not down because Newt laid down the law in his speech and Santorum pulled out of Florida and is surging in other states. Either one is tons better than Romney. Otherwise I am going to vote 3rd party.

I think’s it been clear since 2000 that Florida is the vending-machine of votes.

Florida failed the country. Bunch of northerners and northern attitudes. I’ve said it a hundred times in this forum ... Florida is NOT a part of the South. Don’t ever believe that it is.

Santorum is splitting the vote .Without him it would be nearly tied right now.

In Florida you have to be a member of the party to vote in the primaries . Since most people feel that 0 already has the ticket for the Democrats I would not be surprised if we have a lot of Democrats that changed their party affiliation just to do this here again.
(it’s the blue counties that are keeping Romney’s numbers up)
To that you also have to add that the snow birds that spend the cool months of the year here are here right now and those people vote here and no one bothers to check if they vote again when they go home.

They saw what happened to our Att. General Bill McCollum when he ran for Governor in 2010. Rick Scott spent $70,000,000 and buried him. All the Republican Politians went with the highest bidder. So did all our pundits and leaders. Only Jim Robinson stood strong and sorted and Zotted this place to sanity. He personally straighten me out about Mitt last summer. Florida is filled with people who came down here with a dream and now sit here with a lot of broken dreams.

Florida did not fail Newt. With 3 to 1 spending Newt did well dollar for dollar. I don't know why the last debate went so badly...(out of character for Newt). The problem is people would rather listen to the ABC networks and their propaganda machines rather than doing their homework. If people would educate themselves and open their eyes the truth will prevail, but they're too lazy for facts. The battle has been lost, but we still have a war to win.
GO NEWT!!!!!

We were bombarded with negative campaign mail from Romney. They were full of lies and innuendos and I just tossed them. I got 2 or 3 a day on average for the last month. A lot of people probably looked at them and because there were so many they might have believed all they said.

As my name says, I'm a Florida Native and I'm a Southern Conservative born in Miami, lived in Broward, and then moved to North Central Florida in '99.

Those who now populate most of South Florida were not born there and very few natives remain...it is full of foreigners or former residents of NYC (Wasserman-Schultz types) and other parts north of the Mason-Dixon line. They brought their ideology, their crankiness, and their corrupted, crappy form of government to a formerly fun place to live.

They are creeping northward into Central and North Central Florida.

We've been invaded by those who refuse to become true Floridians. And we don't care how you did it up North...

Sadly, Florida has changed and not for the better.
