I bought one because of Rush and have regretted since.
The hype about it being a back saver is bunk. I did end up buying an Intek Air Bed from Sportsman’s guide and moved into a spare bedroom so I could sleep alone, and now I sleep like a baby.
I wish I could remember the FReeper’s name that recommended it, I owe him a 18 pack!
I thought about that too. If they did, I think they should do it without quietly rather than cause an advertising war.

I find it ironic that the complainers and haters of capitalism are using basic capitalist behavior to punish Rush.
I really think it should be very very public...these company bailing on Rush are making a public show of it...well we do the same..we give them no ad space anywere ...if a show takes there ad money...we boycott that show
Your daughter and mine wouldn’t THINK to do what Mz. Fluke did. They know their parents would be mortified. A friend and I were discussing ‘back when’ any girl known to be sleeping around was called a ‘slut’ and the social pressure made it a very effective deterent to promiscuity. Now, it’s virgins who are objects of ridicule. Go figure.
We have friends who bought the sleep number bed because of Rush. He is not happy after this week.

But...
The all mighty dollar speaks louder than words of protest as Rush’s former backers will soon discover.
Why not just cut off their source of revenue quietly and let them feel the slow painof a shriveling flow of cash?
No one needs to know of their pain but them, and maybe they will realize that they are responsible for their own destruction.
Which Intek bed did you get? I also have a bad back and have almost given up on beds. I now sleep in my recliner but don’t get the deep sleep I need. Would really like to find a bed I can stretch out, get comfy, get a good night’s sleep and be able to get up and walk the next morning.
I use Crashplan, and never paid a dime. Am I doing somthing wrong?
lol, well, not to them, but it is to you. You can use their cloud to store your data for a fee if you store over 2G. However, their same tool is set up so you can backup for free to computers in your home or to external computers you have access to.
I think it’s “Intex”. Check the reviews on Amazon - numerous complaints about leaks (and no warranty), although those whose beds didn’t leak really liked them.
It almost sounds like Carbonite’s owner Mr. Friend had been a sponsor of Rush’s show so that he could make a big splash with some fake indignation at just the right time.
It is despicable, if that is the case. For some reason, I don’t think this conspiracy calls for a tin foil hat.
I misspelled the brand name, it is Intex. I now see it is available in numerous setups too.

I use Mozy and it worked well when I needed it. What do you suggest if not an online vendor?
