Keith Olbermann has just sued Current TV for firing him ... TMZ has learned.
Keith filed the lawsuit moments ago in L.A. County Superior Court -- claiming he was wrongfully terminated from the network last Friday.
Olbermann is reportedly suing for breach of contract, sabotage and disparagement.
Sources tell TMZ, the lawsuit contains a reference to an email from Current TV President David Bohrman, in which Bohrman admits "the 33rd street studio [where Keith's show was filmed] is never going to be a professional facility. We are paying for a Porsche [the studio] and getting a Yugo [a notoriously crappy car]."
After he was fired, Olbermann complained about how Current TV was being managed while he worked for the network -- telling David Letterman, Current was a "ragtag operation" that couldn't afford him.
Al Gore -- the network's co-founder -- released a vague statement after firing Olbermann, claiming they let Keith go because he was disrespectful and disloyal to viewers.
Will al Gore countersue on the grounds that Keef's bulb is way too dim for a $10 million chandelier?
Odormann is a big cry baby.
imagine that another liberal victim...
More like a Volt.
Break out the popcorn!
Could not happen to two better liberal democrats - going after each other with lawsuits. Attorneys love this. If Olberman was a female, Gloria Allard would be in the picture.
[ Odormann is a big cry baby. ]
Yeah, he thinks he is so damned special he needs to be driven everywhere by servile servants who may not talk to his lordship...
His excuse:
In August 1980, he also suffered a head injury while “leaping” onto a New York City Subway train. This head injury permanently upset his equilibrium, resulting in his avoidance of driving.
I call bullshit on this, If he can walk across a stage his equilibrium can’t be THAT bad. I grew up with someone who needed a walking stick to even walk because his sense of balance was seriously impaired, didn’t stop him from driving a tractor, combine, grain truck, or driving a car.
Olberman is a pansy ass elitist who was probably raised as an “Indigo Child”.

Al Gore will sue because Keith wasn’t using the right type of mercury filled CFL light bulbs and didn’t buy the carbon credits for them...
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
Nothing sweeter than libtards slap fighting each other. I think the best part is that so many of the hard core libtards are abandoning Olbermann. He deserves it of course, but it shows once again that they are hyenas happy to eat one of their own if it gets injured.
Libtards are typically angry, athiest, lazy, and deviant so they will always be unfulfilled and damaged as a result.
Exactly.
This is all about “show.”
There hasn’t been nearly enough time to investigate well and draft a good summons and complaint. This is all about get to court first and grab the headlines, and “Plaintiff Drives The Case and Timeline!”
Stock up on the Jiffy Pop!
Good Grief. A Crat Fight. They could put anything on current TV. The best they will ever get is current results. Al Gore YOU SUCK and so does any idiot that works for you. Olbermann you just got gored in the a**.
I hope they battle it out for years and that it costs both sides a lot of money.
When I was in school we would call such a "Geek Fight"...
No one would really care who won we just hoped it would last a long time and be entertaining.
Big mistake on DOH!berman’s part. California’s labor laws are really really generous, except on two things - Tardys and not showing up. Do either, your case is pretty much trashed, unless you have hospital records or something else to demonstrate you had a very compelling reason not to be at work and you notified your employer as soon as possible.
Best part about this is that he’s going to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars, both his and Current TV’s, into the sinkhole of lawyers.
“I SCREWED UP”. That’s what he said yesterday. Today he sues?
