The problem is all the daylight we’ve saved over all these years. Now we have a daylight surplus. I warned them, but would they listen?

It called the Sara Palin effect. Her being from Alaska and all you know. Not states are getting this extra sun light. Especially that close to D.C.

I was in Kentucky almost four weeks ago now and we were driving into the sun. It didn't set until after 8PM in Lexington. (The same thing happened last year on my spring trip to Keeneland.)

The days will get longer until the summer solstice on June 21st. Then they get shorter.
This has been happening for, oh, billions of years probably.
If it sets your mind at ease, you can use the old Farmer’s Almanac and see the history of sunrise and sunset times back to 1970. It has been very consistent.
