He took his 'board and mouse in hand
Long time the irrascid foe he sought,
So rested he by the BreakinBar,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in moddish thought he read,
The HumbleGumby, with words of flame,
Came churling through the blarzly thread,
And yarbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The posty blasts went flamy-smack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went triumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the HumbleGumby??
Come to my arms, my troobish noll!

He chortled in his joy.

I did a search and found the threads. Kinda glad I missed it now.

What in the world happened to generate all of these humblegunner threads? Apparently I missed all of the "excitement".

All I found doing a search was humblegunner complaining about blogpimps on FR. Is that what this hoopla is all about?

As near as I can figure out, there were pitchers of beer and pool cues involved, and then when the cops came everyone swore that nothing had happened. And bought beers for one another the next night and it was all back to normal.

At least, I hope that's how it turned out.
