Witness tampering in Trayvon Martin case?
examiner.com ^ | May 23, 2012 | Radell Smith

Any cop knows that witness testimony is flimsy at best, with more than one witness to a crime typically differing on half a dozen different aspects of a case. But one thing is a given: cops go with the first testimony a witness gives—not the one likely impacted later by family, friends and the court of public opinion.

And so it will go with George Zimmerman’s defense lawyer as well, when the Trayvon Martin shooting case finally goes to trial.

Until then, however, the fact that four witnesses have changed their stories somewhat should make the public concerned about witness tampering as a possibility.

The leftie papers have tingles up their legs reporting that some witnesses have changed their stories. Their fantasy is that those changes will hurt Zimmerman.

They are blind to the fact that, instead, this bolsters Zimmerman's case, and indicts the one-sided media frenzy that initiated this case.

Next - We already know that Crump was in contact with witness DeeDee for 5-6 days before DeeDee spoke to the police - did Crump talk to any other witnesses?

"So, before you changed your testimony - just what outside information related to this case were you exposed to? Also, what is your personal feeling about George Zimmerman?"

When the facts don’t support the narrative, then the facts MUST be changed.

The left wouldn’t know a fact if it rose up and bit them on the butt.

A lot of those lefty butts are a mass of contusions, and they hardly notice.

Intellectually, they're the archtypical dead-end kids.

And we already know Crump lied about DeeDee:

1) She wasn’t the girlfriend.
2) She wasn’t on the phone with him at the time.
3) She wasn’t so crushed that she had to be hospitalized so was unable to attend the funeral.

We already know that Crump was in contact with witness DeeDee for 5-6 days before DeeDee spoke to the police . . .

"DeeDee" has never spoken with the police. She's refused to speak to the police. She's only spoken with Benjamin Crump and other Martin counsel and the prosecutor's team. Let me grab the rest of the facts and get back to you on that.

Is this the first alleged murder that the lefties think is guilty and deserves the death penalty? It seems odd to me that these folks are normally arguing against convictions based on the tightest of evidence and here they are willing to accept any evidence to prove that Zimmerman is guilty.

This is obivous it’s witness intimidation. Otherwise why are they talking to them numerous times? These people saw something of very short duration. It’s not like they could think of something new. And apparently they didn’t. They thought of something DIFFERENT.

If Zimmerman is found guilty, people who are for justice everywhere should not accept the verdict.

IIRC Crump was in contact with D D longer then the few days. The fact that he spoke with her before LEO had a chance to interview her, one would think should taint her “witness” to ANY comments from TM.

Crump should have gone immediately to the police with the information and let them speak with the “child”.

4) The parents didn’t know anything about DeeDee.

At one point it was reported Mr. Martin assumed she was a girlfriend because he supposedly found her number on Skittle’s cell. Of course, that idea might have been planted by Crump or not. Crump’s been caught in so many outlandish lies he needs to have his license yanked.

"DeeDee" is Diasha Mitchell (apparently Diasha Biranne Mitchell).

She never reported her phone call to Trayvon Mitchell to anyone, but Tracy Martin (the father) finally got the phone records and found that Trayvon had spend a long time on the phone with a certain number, and had texted the same number, a lot on the day he died. This may have been after he figured out a password on the phone; I don't know. Note: I don't know.

They contacted her.

Crump disclosed her at a March 20 press conference. The press was not allowed to interview her; only he could ask her questions. Crump gave a statement which contradicted her statements (for example, Crump said Martin had his hoodie up because it was raining; Daisha said he put it up because Zimmerman was watching him).

Daisha refused to speak with the police. To my knowledge, the only statement(s) she has given have been to Angela Corey's team.

DeeDee's name has never been given by the Martin family or Crump. Others discovered it. There's more information about her and the fact she was NOT Trayvon's 'girlfriend' near the end of this lengthy article.

DeeDee's posts indicate she wasn't in the hospital during the funeral

So when will Holder and the Gang investigate Crump for interfering with Zimmerman’s constitutional rights?

Okay, so whatever?

Witness #12 will be excluded as her recollection can’t be tightened up.

The rest is just how memories stretch into other things as time goes and the lawyers for both sides could easily keep the testimony to 1st impressions.

Any black witness who supports Zimmerman’s statements with testimony is going to be targeted by the lynch mob.

Dee Dee get excluded or her testimony limited.

So long as someone doesn’t Screw up and introduce anything new that wasn’t agreed to before her testimony.
