Indonesian Citizen Barack Obama Writes School Essay Calling Himself Barry Soetoro

[Someday I want to be president.]

“Presumably, he meant president of Indonesia.”

Around a year ago there were articles [???] that ‘Obama’s half-sister’ had died. The back story was that in the Soetoro household in Indonesia there was an early-teens-aged girl who had apparently been taken in as a kind of foster child. She had given an [or some] interview in which she described herself as Barry’s half, or step, sister.

She also told a lot about him and his life there, describing him as a bossy and beligerant child. She said he loved to watch the Indonesian president’s speeches on TV, and that he often pretended to be ‘the president’ - arranging other kids [including her] as his “audience”, and to stand behind him as his “assistants”. She said he was insistant that the others listen to his being-in-charge “speeches”. In Christopher Andersen’s book, ‘Barack and Michelle’, pages 32-33 have considerable detail about the type of insufferable , bossy brat Barry was.

I don’t know if the half-sister story was based on fact. It does sound like his behavior. Reportedly, it was shortly after she gave a lengthy interview that she suddenly and unexpectedly died. She was married, with several children, and lived in a farming area of Indonesia.

As to Barry’s third grade essay: during his formative childhood years, Obama’s political mindset was being implanted by an Indonesian step-father, an America-hating mother, and the Indonesian schools’ curriculum. He didn’t learn about July 4, 1776, or the United states’ founding fathers, or Memorial Day, or “God bless america, land that I love...stand beside her, and guide her...”. Instead, he experienced, and loved such things as [’Dreams’, page 50] “...the goose-stepping demonstrations my Indonesian Boy Scout troop performed in front of the president...”. In Indonesia, he learned about Indponesia’s history - communism, coups, and armed rebellion, and to the tune of Islam, he learned to emulate speechifying from his hero the Indonesian president.

So, yes - most likely scenario is that if Barry did write this/such an essay, he was voicing his desire to become president of Indonesia.

Something else that nags at me about this essay bit is time frames. We know from the INS file on Soetoro that he and Stanley Ann married in 1965, that he returned to Indoonesia in [IIRC] 1966, and that she and Barry joined him there in October 1967. In the fall of 1967 Barry was 6 years old. He supposedly attended the Catholic School in Jakarta for two years, followed by two years in the Indonesian government school. That’s four school years: (1) 1967-68; (2) 1968-69; (3) 1969-70; (4) 1970-1971. In the summer of 1971, when turning 10 years old, Barry was sent to Hawaii to live, where he was enrolled/started in fall 1971 at the Punahou school - in the 5th grade.

Now, back to this “essay” Barry purportedly wrote. He says: “I am a third-grade student as SD Asisi.”

How can he have been in THIRD grade at Asisi school? According to the INS timeframe [moving to Indonesia/starting school there in Oct. 1967] he would have to have been in Asisi for 1st and 2nd grades, and then the Indonesian government school for THIRD and 4th grades - to be on track for entering 5th grade in Hawaii, fall of 1971.

The essay story doesn’t jive with the dates the INS, and Barry, have elsewhere stated.

The most curious thing about this essay story is the language. Unless Maraniss’ account in his book has information about it - his copy? - being a translation, I hesitate to give it any credence whatsoever. another Barry lie - and one not carefully thought out.

This bit is written in English - complete with the cutesy “eeeeeeeeend”. The language of Indonesia is/was Indonesian, not English. In “Dreams” Barry brags about how he was speaking the Indonesian language within 6 months of arriving there. Other than kindergarten in Hawaii, all of his classroom schooling was in the Indonesian language: 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. So Barry - in his third year there, and therefore in the Government school - was not doing schoolwork in what would have been considered a foreign language.

Unless Maraniss can produce the essay as it would have been written - in the Indonesian language, specifically, the ORIGINAL paper - I’m thinking this is yet another example of Barry BS, and that instead of parsing it all - essay, historical probability, and oops - common sense regarding the known liar - Maraniss allowed himself to be had.

What I don't know is that if at that time Indonesia allowed dual-citizenship. At this point in time they do not.

There is something seriously wrong with the entire Indonesian story and timeline. The Lia story, if we can get a translation of the video interviews, might shed some light on the background. There was an interview with zero during the time he was at Harvard, in which he said he went to Indonesia when he was TWO years old, and there's that photograph of zero with Scott Inuoe in Hawaii in grade three, in 1969.

Then he writes an essay in grade three in Indonesia IN ENGLISH? Now that's a funny one...the entire myth of 'Dreams' is nothing but that, it's a fabrication constructed around characters and times and dates that cannot be verified and people who are unidentified and quite often, composites.

btw, the kenyan-son-of-a-goat-herder never went to Oxford, he picked up his english accent from the Anglican teachers at the high school he attended at Maseno in Kenya, and the chances that the coal-black native Luo was zero's father are getting slimmer by the minute...

There seems to be a disconnect regarding 1960’s citizenship and “natural born” citizenship ... and now in 2012...even among those here on FR. I derive my understanding from my education in ‘grade school’ circa mid 1950’s to 1960’s. I don’t believe we have had any major amendments to the Constitution of the United States in re: citizenship since then??? So why the disconnect??? Could it be the crappy, propagandist educational system?

There are so many possibilities as to what was transpiring regarding Obama/Soetoro and his names, it’s like trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle whose pieces are all blank.

We don’t know for sure under what name he travelled to Indonesia to live. IF Lolo adopted him, was the adoption in Hawaii? Or in Indonesia? A court in Hawaii would have required consent-to-adoption from the father named on the birth certificate. Would Senior as well have been required to sign for an Indonesian adoption? In “Dreams” it says he had already been enrolled in school in Indonesia prior to his arrival. That first school was the Asisi, where we know he was enrolled as Barry Soetoro, Indonesian citizen Did the school require proof of identity and citizenship? - a birth certificate, or adoption papers - for enrollment?

Information has been that Indonesian citizenship was required for any child to attend a government school, which Barry did for the second two years he was there. Between that requirement, and the fact of his already having been registered as a citizen at the first school he attended, it sure does seem like he really was adopted by Lolo. And in “Dreams” Barry remarked that to his family and friends, Lolo always referred to Barry as his son.

So all that would indicate that when he returned to Hawaii in 1971, it would have to have been with his own passport under the name of Barry Soetoro.

The first known “event” in the timeline was his starting school in Hawaii: 5th grade, at Punahou. “Dreams” told us - pages 54 and 58 - that Barry had lived with his grandparents in Hawaii the summer of 1970, and that he had gone for several interviews at Punahou during that summer of 1970. So the process had begun at least a year before his move back.

In “Dreams”, pages 59-60 - we’re told that on his first day at Punahou there was snickering at his name; that the teacher had remarked Barry’s grandfather had told her his “...father is in Kenya”. That - if not another Barry lie - indicates he started at Punahou as Barack “Barry” Obama. However, and typically, it doesn’t SAY so; it only “indicates”.

The next “event” in the timeline is the BIG VISIT from Obama, Sr. My own speculation is that it wasn’t a “visit”, and that Stanley Ann being there for the same time period was also not a “visit”.

The grandparents had agreed to taking the boy to live with them so his mother would be free to flit around the world being a pioneer of women’s liberation. The grandparents in effect rescued the boy from his irresponsible, selfish mother. He had one father in Kenya, another in Inbdonesia, and a mother set to embark on a lifetime of dedicated concern for tribal women in third world countries - but none for her son.

So - who speaks for the boy? The laws in every state require there be a legal voice for the boy. A legal decision-maker, a legal caretaker. Someone to enroll him in school, someone to sign for field trips, to give permission to take part in school sports, to sign for routine or emergency medical treatment, etc, etc, etc.

I’m fairly certain the parents’ Nov.-Dec. 1971 visit was for no other reason than to meet a court requirement to appear in person in order to sign legal guardianship to the grandparents. Since the father, Obama, Sr., had not contested the 1964 divorce and Stanley Ann had sole custody, it’s likely the father wouldn’t be required to appear for a guardianship hearing. BUT - it the grandparents didn’t want any future problems from their daughter or Obama, Sr., they may have actually petitioned to adopt their grandson. In that case both parents would be required to appear in court. The “visit” would be lengthy due to court procedures: a petition for guardianship [or adoption] is filed, and a 30-days’ Notice of Hearing is sent to all interested parties. Then, following the hearing there could/would be another period of time required to pass before court orders are written and filed. And documents registered showing guardianship, or adoption. If adoption, a new birth certificate is issued, and the original book registration is marked indicating there’s been an amendment to the original document.

If this was the scenario, it would explain the horrified reaction by the grandparents to receiving telegram notification that Obama, Sr. would be arriving that Nov.[”Dreams”, pages 62-63] If that was the scenario, the grandparents likely would have figured that the required Notice of Hearing sent to Obama, Sr would have been ignored [and thus he’d have given up any rights to the boy by default].

And IF this was the scenario, I’d also think it likely that until the arrival of that telegram, 10-year-old Barry Soetoro had never in his life been told of, or heard of, or had any knowledge whatsoever of the Kenyan man now being alleged to be his father.

There have been a series of attempts by Congress to alter the “natural born citizen” requirement to the U.S. Constitution without using the approved Constitutional method of changing the document. To do that, however, requires that the acutal definition of “natural born citizen” would be explained, the explanation being in Minor v. Happersett (1874), where the unanimous holding of the SCOTUS was that a natural born citizen was born in the U.S. of two U.S. citizen parents.

Globalists are opposed to the requirement, “natural born citizen”. Not surprisingly, that includes most Republican elitists, like the Romneys and the Bush family.

I like all the intriging scenarios surrounding the birth narratives of Øbama but I believe it is a simple matter of raunchy sex. Stanley Armour banged some Honolulu Ho (and I don’t mean Don) and those names appear on the BC.

Two things give me pause:

Why did SADO ship a 10 year old back to her Parents? It wasn’t because of money the Soetoros had just moved into one of the more exclusive ‘hoods in Jakarta.

Why did Madelyn not want to be buried with Stanley Armor?

I am glad to see focus on the BIG VISIT.

Obama II would have been an Indonesian citizen - in Indonesia because his mother had to become an Indonesian citizen according to Indonesian citizenship laws. Basically, after a marriage between an Indonesian and non-Indonesian nationals the clock starts ticking for one of them to change their nationality. Indonesia basically did not (and may not to this day) recognize ‘mixed’ (nationality) marriages. So by Indonesian law Obama was an Indonesian citizen as of March 15, 1966. When he was only 4 years old.

If the US recongized Obama II as solely Indonesian it would explain the need for Obama Sr.s appearence in 1971. He was needed to ‘reclaim’ his namesake son to terminate the Indonesian citizenship. Indonesian law allows for foreign national birth fathers to reclaim their adopted natural child and terminate their Indonesian citizenship.

If this happened then the birth records were probably pretty well cleaned up to match the narrative story all the way back in 1971. If Obama II was born overseas or in Washington, etc. it was all probably white washed to get a child out of a dangerous country in 1971.

1971 has some key information.

'In the Honolulu of Barry's teenage years marijuana was flourishing up in the hills, out in the countryside, in covert greenhouses everywhere. It was sold and smoked right there in front of your nose; Maui Wowie, Kauai Electric, Puna Bud, Kona Gold, and other local variations of pakololo were readily available.'

'A self-selected group of boys at Punahou School who loved basketball and good times called themselves the Choom Gang. Choom is a verb, meaning "to smoke marijuana".'

'Barry popularized the concept of "roof hits": when they were chooming in the car all the windows had to be rolled up so no smoke blew out and went to waste; when the pot was gone, they tilted their heads back and sucked in the last bit of smoke from the ceiling.'

'When you were with Barry and his pals, if you exhaled precious pakalolo (Hawaiian slang for marijuana, meaning "numbing tobacco") instead of absorbing it fully into your lungs, you were assessed a penalty and your turn was skipped the next time the joint came around. "Wasting good bud smoke was not tolerated," explained one member of the Choom Gang, Tom Topolinski.'

I’m shocked that Billy Ayers would make such a grammatical mistake as to use a ‘verb meaning to smoke marijuana’ to modify the noun ‘gang’. Guess old bloody bomber isn’t as smart as he would have the world believe.

She was upset that lil Barry was so taken with his Muslim religion. She wanted him to be raised as a good atheistic Communist, not a Muslim. She knew he would receive proper indoctrination from his father Frank and her father Stanley.
