Lets assume Romney Wins!Then we can assume a gradual comeback of the economy.Now keep in mind the millions of Americans who have been trapped in their homes/apts/living with friends for 3/4 years of whom have been dying to move out.We know there are millions of Americans who can't sell their homes because of "The Rats In The White House".What would have all of us conservatives laughing is a mass exodus of those in states like Illinios,New York&Cally who then flee for Florida/Texas/Midwest for a better life.Then what will Rahm,Moonbeam and Mayor&Governor of New York do when they lose 1/3rd of their income taxes? Who can't wait to see Rahm explain to his teachers that he can no longer pay them $75,000 a year?
California won’t be a pretty situation, that’s for sure.
I think we would all be cheering for the residents who have been waiting all year or longer to leave Illinois cause of the bad economy and dealing with the thugs who run Chicago.
85% of it hasn't been pretty for a long time now. There are only a few liveable "islands" left among the liberal helter skelter and increasing gang encroachment.
They’d be welcome to bring their business to a red right-to-work state but don’t dare show and then try to change our ways of doing things and turn us into bleeding blue hearts.
and lets hope that all of “The Legal Americans” take the jobs before the illegals take them. Just like they have been for decades.

There are plenty of jobs in the south, and plenty of homes priced right. Question to folks relocating, what is your credit score? Red state people aren’t stupid, or our economy wouldn’t be out-performing blue states. Don’t come begging, we have indigenous beggars

If you live in a solid-red state like I do (Texas), you know the blue-staters are already coming, because you’re counting out of state plates and noting where they’re from.
The question you raise is an interesting one.
It could be that the “yankee” influx is mostly those who have a pioneer spirit and the sense to leave a bad situation for greener pastures where their hard work and perseverence will pay off. If true, that would be a GOOD thing for whatever state they choose to join.
And that’s what I want to believe, so I’ll choose to believe it over the other possibilities. :-)
A local doctor (retired) and his wife say they’re moving to TX if Obama is re-elected. They claim that TX still has a clause in theri Constitution that allows it to secede.

Be careful what you wish for! In some instances, the first rats to flee from the sinking ships were Democrats. New Hampshire and Vermont used to be solidly Republican, but the leftist emigres brought their radical politics with them and tilted the states from red to blue. Liberals, progressives and socialists will never acknowledge that their policies are failures, so they keep moving and repeating the same failed experiments over and over again.
I think it would be an interesting study of over the last 60 years or so to compare states for net influx/outflux versus how red or blue they are. As population increases, does the blueness increase, which finally tips the scales against further immigration and begins an exodus. California would be an interesting example, and it seems that red states generally have a higher inflow of people where blue states have a higher outflow.
Conservative residents SHOULD flee Sodom Blue states and come to the God Fearing States of America regardless. We want you here in Florida. If Romney doesn’t win, they need to come here even more so because our strength will grow. Obama has been forcing state secession from day one in office. Come and help us further dominate our red state legislatures.
The state governments may be your greatest and only protection.
It would be soooo delicious to see a blue state federation that gives the Feds -and the other deep red states- the
middle finger.
