Figuring FR will error-out before it’s day in some of your time zones ...
Everything is fine here. The dull Charlotte suburbs are getting a bit of wintry weather - 40s, north wind, a sprinkle of cold rain - but that’s all. Cape May, NJ, is way underwater, so Anoreth will be here until a Whenever in the fairly distant future, it seems. Good thing we like her.
Ash ate some high-fat ground beef and chicken livers yesterday, and there was only one puddle this morning. We needed to replace that section of carpet, anyway.

Still haven’t decided about that. We seem to have escaped unscathed, the wrath of the storm. Points north and east of us, not so lucky.

Just stopping in to say we’re safe, though no power.
The power company hooked up a generator to the box
in our yard. All we have is weak wireless for the moment.
Even our landline phone isn’t working. My brother found
that when he tried to call some of you to give a head’s up.
A tree came down on the house, but it didn’t do any damage.
Shingles were torn off various buildings & there are trees down
around the neighborhood. Can’t stay on anymore, battery
back up is dying, bye.
