It fixed rrrod’s ear infection and my mom’s toenail fungus, and none of my kids has had an ear infection since we started using it to wipe the crud out of their ears, back when James was a baby. I often wonder what’s going on in their heads, to produce some much gross ear-crud ...
Tea-tree oil is like garlic - use it on your toenail and you can taste it in a couple of minutes! I like the smell - it smells like dead germs and fungus!
The brand from Walmart is what I get - about $4.95 for a 2 to 3 oz. bottle. It works on one’s (ahem) personal itchings, in addition to everything else.
It’s hard to know how many of the cancers - such as John Wayne’s and Susan Hayward’s - could be attributed to radiation exposure and how much to smoking and other hard-living issues. One of our neighbors out in Missouri was on a Navy ship during a couple of the tests in the Pacific. He died a few years shy of 70 from what could reasonably be assumed to be complications of radiation exposure - not cancer, but a kind of systemic breakdown that would put him in the hospital every winter. The VA didn’t want to admit it, of course.
On the other hand, a couple of my great-uncles died in their 60s without radiation - one from lung cancer (a heavy smoker) and one from liver failure (an alcoholic). And what about agricultural chemicals? The great-uncle who worked for the fertilizer company, after his Army service in the Pacific War and Korea, is still alive in his late 80s.
I thought that tea tree oil was pleasantly fragrant. If I had swimmer’s ear, I mixed a 1:1 rubbing alcohol/acetic acid soln, and I was safe.
I attempted to respond. Would you please check your mail and if the response is insufficient, I’ll send another reply. You are such a pal! :)
It seems that there are very high cancer rates in our current locale. The locals blame it on the paper mill and other industries here. We checked for Superfund Sites before we considered buying. On the flip side, if one of our neighbors in his 70’s passes, nobody can figure out why he died. Others live to their 90’s and 100’s. Many of them have survived serious injury w/amputated limbs secondary to farming accidents, but they look really good and peppy. Who knows?
Do they wear headsets frequently? Bacterial replication seems to be encouraged when peopl wear headsets overnight.
Uh oh—Sandman’s coming. Sweet dreams, y’all!
It's the early-morning Birthday Cat saying, "Who turned on the lights?"
NO, WAIT! He's saying, "Happy Birthday, Flotsam_Jetsome, in your far-off, confusing time zone!"
If you're on the far side of the world, do you get a year younger on your birthday?
No, the boys with the worst ears almost never wear headphones.
FReepers are the bestest of the bestest!
(My gruntle actually phoned in congratulations, though they hung up before I could effect a trace.)
You hear from your gruntle more often than some people.
Have some cake!
Let's all have some Cake in honor of birthdays, electoral struggles and other examples of survival.
Happy Birthday!
You should go easy on the birthday cake. Eating it too often is bad for you.
Thank you for the ping, and coverage.
Majordomo for the sentiment. I read FR intensively, and deeply appreciate your continued contributions, N2I.
I read, comment, and notice those who take the time out to do the same, and you’re a standout in all of the above categories. Your speaking up on the critical issues facing our Republic are all the B-day present I need.
Thank you for continued engagement in defense of what remains of our Nation.
FReepers up!
Thank you for those kind words. Those were words am undeserving of having placed on me. I fall short of our Nation’s Defense ever single time. There are many here more deserving of your words. Including you! Enjoy your day FRiend and once more, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
