that's not fair, TPF -- these are just the Jews in America. Nearly all liberals. This is not the Jews in the US and DEFINITELY not our fellow freepers here on FR
Hey, it's a new world on Nov 7 . The majority of US voters have spoken, we are now a socialist country and have given a mandate to the President and Congress for this change. Along with that mandate comes the baggage, no energy, higher taxes, socialized medicine, and the bird to Israel. I didn't vote for any of this, I voted against it. But thinking we will change it is folly, there are now more takers than givers...we are finally outnumbered by people who would rather NOT work. The majority of Jews in the USA voted for this new form of government.

My personal feelings toward the that majority of Jews is identical to my feelings towards Democrats ... Kind of a mental "traitor shelf" for me. Because of their support of socialism, I have no choice but to pay higher taxes, limit my energy usage, and being over 70, my death will now come sooner than later. The money I spent a lifetime working for is now being "redistributed" to people that won't work. So if I have to bear all this because of their Jewish majority support for it, why the hell should I support Israel, something I have as much control over now as higher taxes?

The only cause I'm supporting from here forward is mine. Yesterday the new gun and ammo storage cabinet was completed, had the guns, added ammo. Another 90 days of MREs were ordered for the food cabinet, and the SHTF bugout bags are ready to throw in the car. I am not going to spend any precious time I have left to worry about Israel ... I did, but no longer.

All that changed last Tuesday...welcome to a new country and a new world order. You might as well adjust..."they" won ... And the majority of USA Jews are part of the "they." Shame on anybody that voted against the USA last Tuesday!

For you to read, the Moslem Taliban supporting Obama’s re-election

Doesn't surprise me at the the Taliban supports another Muslim .
What surprises me is that the Roman Catholic church insist that they worship the same "god" as the Muslims do. Real Christians know that the moon god allah is not the God of Abraham ,Issac and Jacob.

post quoting Matt 5:44 reminds me of Psalm 62:4 With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse.

Yeah my saying to you in a PM that I will pray for you is a curse and you saying to me burn in the pit is a blessing . Did you learn that in church or catholic school ?

You are saying who voted for what, and I'm saying there is something wrong in the church. 50% voted for Obama, that's a disgrace. The church even wrote a letter( wow!), to tell members to vote for religious freedom( aka Repub).

What I've been saying for years now is we need more than a letter or an opinion piece in the NYT. We need the church passing judgement on members that scoff at God! About a month before the election, just think, what if VP Biden was called on the carpet and told he must support life of lose the Sacraments? Pelosi? How about a few Kennedy's? How about some Hollywood idiots? We could get some attention then.

If Biden was told to shape up or he's out, what would he choose? We need this conversation. If Biden was excommunicated, what effect do you think that would have on someone in the cafeteria?

IMHO, I believe this is why God has put this right in front of everyone's nose. You are either with Him, or you are in rebellion. Being in open sin and still believing God has forgiven you is just wrong. If Pelosi can openly say the abortion question is still open right in front of the pope and nothing happens, I guess the abortion question is still open for her and millions of others. That right there should have merited some sanction from the church.

The fact that some Catholics voted for Obama is just a symptom of a much larger problem. How would the church react to find a priest was having an affair with the organist? Do you just let it slide because they are "catholic"? If you are in open sin and still attending church, should someone have the right to call you on it? Read about the Corinthian church with open sin there. Paul said to confront them and then throw them out to Satan if they don't repent.

That’s good to know.

There must be something in the water of NY that does that to Catholics because I’ve only met ONE Catholic couple who votes conservative who lives in NYS.

I do not like this bashing of religions by anyone. I think it is high time to realize that we have had a few generations or so of kids who are now 18 plus who were taught by liberal teachers, influenced by every liberal entertainer, plus they are mostly lazy as hell with few exceptions. I hired a man to repair/replace white cedar siding as needed and paint it with two coats. He tried white boys/men about 20-40. The clowns worker two hours in the AM, took a three hour bar break, slopped on paint for one hour in the PM, and; they quit work at 3:00 PM. After three damn weeks and 20-30 new painters who could not paint a straight line-I fired all of the clowns. I never heard so many youngsters claim to be partially disabled. Not a one had served a day in the military. These damn punks were mostly obese. They cannot or will not work. The military will not take them.

and 95% or more of black Protestants including evangelicals etc. voted for Obama

Many Baptist black preachers supported him

Is there something wrong with these churches?

We need the church passing judgement on members that scoff at God! -- fully in agreement with you on this. Perhaps that will happen now, since the Church was earlier wary of duking it out in the press. Now we will realise that no matter what we're going to get slammed, might as well get slammed for something we really did

You asked, “why did 20% of white evangelicals vote for Obama? why would evangelicals vote Democrat?”

That is like asking “why did the Corinthians think of men above that which is written?” (1Cor. 4:6)

You mean, “Why did 20% of Born again Evans vote like twice as many white Catholics?,” and why did only a 10% majority of even white Catholics vote like 70% of Evans?

I am not sure what your reasoning is supposed to prove, but it appears you are attempting damage control
by resorting to invoking the minority of Born again Evans who voted liberal like in in order to minimize that only 48% of Catholics voted for Romney, and just 59% white Catholics did, versus 69% of BA Evans and 57% of Prots overall. - , http://www.pewforum.org/Politics-and-Elections/How-the-Faithful-Voted-2012-Preliminary-Exit-Poll-Analysis.aspx

There simply is no debate that evangelicals are more conservative (though as foretold [2Thes. 2:3], this is in decline), and that only a minority of Evans voted like Catholics usually do, and are contrary to their profession, or that while conservative RCs voted for Romney, yet overall those whom Rome counts and treats as members in life and in death are liberal: http://www.peacebyjesus.com/RC-Stats_vs._Evang.html

“even among evangelicals Latinos, more voted for Obama than for Romney”

And around 75% of Latino Catholics voted Obama, Again, what do think you are proving from Poland? Certainly not that Catholics here are as conservative overall as evangelicals. Once again your defense is an argument against Rome.

Among Latino registered voters, support for President Barack Obama is higher among Catholics and those with no religious affiliation than among evangelical Protestants, according to a Pew Research Center survey.Obama has the support of 73 percent of Latino Catholics and 82 percent of Latinos with no religious affiliation, but only half (50 percent) of Latino evangelicals. Obama’s main rival in the presidential race, Republican Mitt Romney, has the support of 39 percent of Latino evangelicals, but only 19 percent of Latino Catholics and seven percent of Latinos with no religious affiliation.

Among all Latino registered voters, Obama has a 48 percentage point advantage over Romney, 69 to 21 percent, according to the survey.Obama has a 15 percentage point advantage among all Catholic registered voters, 54 to 39 percent. The survey indicates that this advantage is driven by Latino Catholics. Among white non-Latino Catholics, Obama only has a one percentage point advantage, 47 to 46 percent. - http://www.christianpost.com/news/latino-voters-obama-support-stronger-among-catholics-unaffiliated-than-evangelicals-83540/

And even playing sports requires frequent breaks, But this is a religious issue, as there is an ideology behind it, which is from Hell, that of “climbing up some other way” (Jn. 10:1) to power, etc. than thru merit, which the devil tried, (Is. 14), and the victim-entitlement mentality which calls the worthy to “share the wealth,” power and position with those who demand it, and who feel justified in taking it, which the devil worked to instill in Eve. (Gn. 3)

i tell you soberly that today’s pre-college (secular seminary) youth are the most open to any ideology than ever before. And as saith Daniel Webster,

If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country,become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error will be; If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy; If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will;

If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.” (Tryon Edwards, “A Dictionary of Thoughts: Being a Cyclopedia of Laconic Quotations from the Best Authors of the World, Both Ancient and Modern ,”1908. p. 49)

Rom_8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

And I think deep down inside you are well aware of it and that is why you send me nasty personal messages .

I just want you to know that it does not bother me in the least because while you think you are cursing me in the private messages you send me you are actually blessing me.

...."Is there something wrong with these churches?"....

Yes, but they aren't the Catholic church. Prots are generally fragmented. We aren't supposed to be. I could declare my house is a church and worship my lawnmower and support Obama if I chose in America. But allegedly, the Catholics are different.

I'm just saying the church has allowed this schism by ignoring dissent and division for decades. If I joined a church that worshiped a lawnmower, and then announced I coveted a washing machine, what do you think the church would say? If you are Catholic and then declare that Catholic doctrine is wrong, why not purge the non believer than put up with their blasphemy in the ranks? I'm just saying, the pope, or someone, should challenge these people and make it impossible to stay unless they submit to the churches teachings. I'm not talking about some interpretation of some Bible verse, but of child murder and sodomy. If the church cannot successfully defend against murder and sodomy from our own members, what good are we doing?

These are questions I've had for years now with little relief except for the occasional, "I know you are, but what am I", type retort from a fellow catholic. I had to watch Ted Kennedy for 50 years be lionized by the church after murder, drunkenness, fornication and adultery, all done out in the open. He was repeatedly elected by Catholics in his state and then got all the respect and pomp from the church at his death.

Answer me this,....Why is it no Catholic news person hasn't asked Joe Biden on camera how he justifies his religion with his political party? Fellow Catholics can't even bring themselves to embarrass a fellow Catholic. I'm just saying you either believe or you don't and it reflects on the church if they just do nothing and say nothing.

I don't know about you, but it shames me to know 50% of Catholics voted Obama. People pretend there is nothing wrong and to mind my own business, but I think it is my business. Everybody sits around saying someone should do something, but nothing happens,.....for 50 years. I'm just asking for something very simple, that someone from Rome lay the law down to the church. We will not sanction unbelief and sin in our ranks. I don't think that is too much to ask. Otherwise the church is just a money machine and a hobby for people that need something to do on weekends. It's almost as if they don't want to anger the sinners so they will just keep giving money. That's the only explanation I can come up with. The church is here to change lives and hearts and change the fallen world. If we just go along to get along, how are we different from them? By allowing this sin in our midst, aren't we guilty of the same sin? What change are we making if we say nothing to our own members.

I go through this every election cycle and then I have to just shut up for awhile or go crazy. But now look at us and where we are. The church has been persecuted for centuries and we vote in our own persecutors. How stupid is that? In the meantime, more babies die and sodomites marry in 4 more states. If Christ's church cannot make a difference, who can?

Thank you.

Inaction on the part of the leadership is not excusable with *Well, they ex-communicated themselves*.

It makes the leadership appear weak and ineffective, and is no deterrent to others who follow the same path. It’s the lazy, easy way out.

The church leadership is commanded in Scripture to address sin in the life of the people. Not doing so makes them culpable.

And this goes for ANY church. No church is exempt from obeying Scripture.

It is not as up to date, and the toggle columns function does not list states according to % of vote for Romney, but i did that working on that in my http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/Statistical_Correlations.html page (note that Democrats as in Red on my states stats): http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mejn/election/2004/ though i know you have seen it before this addition.
