I'll start, Best-1974 Chevrolet Malibu Classic 2 door just ABSOLUTLY beautiful! Worst-1979 Ford Futura DAMN thing couldn't get out of it's own way, got PASSED by a Ford Pinto on the 805 to the 92(I think)South in San Diego.
2003 Nissan Altima 2.5. It was my 5th Altima. Put 195,000 on it. NEVER had to align it. Only replaced rear shocks and brakes until 190,000 miles. Then I had to replace the coils, and the alternator went at 195,000. EVERYTHING else was original equipment (except tires, spark plugs, windshield wipers, brakes, lube changes, etc...). GREAT sound system and air conditioner. Great pick up. Decent mileage. 24 city/30 highway. It was my 5th Altima. Bought a Ford C-Max hybrid. Would have bought another Altima if they had a decent hybrid. Maybe the next one.

My wife had a 77 Nova. She loved it, but that paint came off. I remember telling her to take to the dealer and she woulc get it repainted for nothing. She did not beleive me. Years later, my ‘89 Park Ave started peeling. I drove the delaer....and a week later it was back, painted and looked brand new.
My best was a 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo, R1 Avanti powered, power shift and twin traction. I used to eat Mustangs for lunch in high school!
Worst was a 1972 Chrysler Newport, big heavy boat that constantly fouled its plugs.
Best: 1980-ish Ford Bronco - full sized, 4 or 5 speed,
I don’t remember.
Ran like a top, could fit 14 kids in it for
movies and skating parties. I felt so macho driving it,
I always called it ‘My PE^!$ on Wheels’....
I finally sent it to live on a farm when the floorboards rusted too badly.
Worst: 1973 Triumph Spitfire Convertible. My ex-husband
bought it with the insurance money I had from maternity leave. It was a stick which I couldn’t drive at the time.
I never got to drive it, it was awfully cute, didn’t fit a car seat for the baby. Ex-hubby had to ‘pop’ start downhill, and one night it ran over his heel. I laughed.
Best car-My current daily driver 1992 chev silverado 1500 4x4. 279000 miles and still going. cheap (Except for mileage) and easy to fix.
My best and worst was one vehicle - a 1972 Series III Land Rover. With a winch, jack and chains it would go virtually anywhere in the north woods. However, it was mechanically a basket case needing a new exhaust manifold every 12,000 miles, electrical connections behind the dash that came loose from time to time (sometimes generating smoke), door lock tumblers that came out with the key, etc.

With that being said, my 1985 Honda CRX and my current 1995 Honda Del Sol with 220,000 miles are the best cars I ever owned. Unfortunately for the current Del Sol, the rear quarter panels are rusting out in front of the wheel wells.
the worst cars I ever owned were a 1978 MGB and and 1980 Pontiac Sunbird........
FWIW, only 2 cars (Hondas) in 28 years is pretty good. I have nothing bad to say about Hondas. (except for the 17 year rust-out...LOL!)
Worst: 1978 chevy monza kammback wagon. I learned how to fix cars with that damn thing. I replaced everything in the engine compartment at least once, including the motor. I sold it before the unibody rusted through and started to sag. There were 3 parts cars in the local scrapyard and I could find any one of them blindfolded.

Best. Nissan Frontier. Great pick-em-up truck. My only new vehicle. Loved it!
Favorite. Honda CRV. Traded in my picke-em-up for a family car that could fit a car seat. Very safe vehicle, low miles, great deal - and it reminds me that I have a little daughter who I love so much!

Chevy 327 four barrel carb, Impala, 1964. Gawd, I loved that car. Fast, handled well, four door, dark blue beauty. Best. Worst? Fiat 500.
Best: 2002 Cadillac DTS which I still drive.
Worst: 1978 Olds Omega. Paint peeled, AC refused to blow cold, V6 engine hesitated upon attempted acceleration. Engine would vapor lock even after I added an electric fuel pump.
Favorite: (first car) 1964 GTO. Fast as hell. Could easily have killed myself in it.
runner up favorite: 1974 Datsun 260Z. Replaced Hitachi’s with (3) Weber DCOE’s, cam, headers. Fast for a 6-banger.
Worst: 71 AMC Gremlin
The worst; '66 Pontiac LeMans, '68 VW fastback and a '80 Subaru Wagon.
Best: 72 Dodge Dart
Worst: 90 Hyundai Sonata (I’ve read they’re a lot better now, but man the early ones sucked big time)
Best: 67 Cutlass , 330c.i. Power glide trans. Bought it in 85 for $500 and never put a dime into it. Drove it everywhere with no problems. Sold it a few years later along with my Monte Carlo S.S. when I got married.
Worst: 89 Iroc Z-28. Fast as lightning but very temperamental.
Most fun car: 1973 BMW 2002. Too many great memories from college in Chapel Hill to list!
Most sensible car: 2002 4WD Sequoia. 346,000 miles after five children and with original engine & trans. still runnning like new.
Best: wife’s current ‘06 Chevy Trailblazer SS
6 liter Corvette engine delivers 395 hp & 400 torque
all wheel drive and fun fun fun
(till I got the ticket @ 89 mph, didn’t stop me, went 111 shortly therafter)
Worst: ‘61 Rambler
wipers would stop going uphill,
although my friends in college loved to borrow it overnight for dates since the seats went the whole way down.
