As New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg pumps millions of dollars into the airwaves, President Obama is getting ready for a brand new campaign. Obama will travel around the country on a gun control tour,...........

Obama isn’t doing this for gun control.
He is doing this because it keeps him out of the White House and away from the wide load.Gives him more time with his “friends”, and because it allows him to travel allover America getting his ass kissed by corrupt politicians at the different places he goes.
Crap!!! If I was allowed to travel all over the country at somebody elses expense, stay in first class accomodations , have my food tasted by food tasters, and everywhere I went people treated me like royalty, I would do it too.
Wouldn’t we all? Who cares what it costs for the secret Service to go there first and arrange things travel with him and be put up in hotel rooms, no to mention the extra aircraft required to fly the beast there, fly the Helicopters there, and to put the military up and feed and house them.
We just print more money to pay for it.
Sequester. It don’t slow down the Traveler in Chief.
Hot damn what a farce this a-hole is getting away with.
I’m not interested, Barry.
Stay your ass at home.
America has spoken.
Listen.
Obama on gun control campaign tour, DHS purchasing hollow-point ammo by the billions (supposedly for training purposes), $500 million dollars just given to the Palestinians right after the sequester, and the Republicians in Congress doing what?
True... but how would you convince them they are crazy?
“...Merely committing them to an institution isnt the answer. A complete frontal lobotomy seems the perfect solution....”
Getting them off the streets would help immensely though.
Lobotomies have been tried along with electrode-shock therapy in the distant past. Nothing cures it. They’re beyond help. And yes: They are crazy and violent.
Hey, the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile has a long & honorable history and is an important article of Americana.
Much too good for the WH choomer.
"Some" form of more "Gun Control" will happen. You can bet on that.
Boo Yah! Look honey. Publishers clearing house just showed up at the front door. Either that or my Nigerian millions just showed up in my back account courtesy of fbi head bobby mueller. LOL!
Or ... his keepers are not happy with the gun grab stalling (and it has), and they are riding him to stir it back up. I feel as though there’s a hidden deadline at work here. This seems rushed.
Yuup! I can just picture the back slapping and high fiving that went on at the brady bunch hq within minutes of the atrocity at Sandy Hook. And, I have no doubt that when the next one happens they’ve already got the press releases ready and waiting. Then sarah will drag jim out again and mark kelley-giffords will drag gabby out too. Sickening to say the least. Inanimate objects are........inanimate. DUH!
Bloomberg's pro-gun control group Mayors Against Illegal Guns is launching the campaign in states where senators may be on the fence regarding a package of firearms proposals making its way to the Senate floor. As the push for that legislation appears to falter, President Obama plans to soon tour the country to talk about the need to reduce gun violence, a senior administration official confirmed to Fox News. Bloomberg also confirmed Sunday that he plans to spend $12 million to run ads in at least 10 states, suggesting there could be a political price to pay for opposing the measures.
And of course, Bloomberg's personal obsession and mission against the National Rifle Association continues.
NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre on Sunday challenged New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's plan to spend $12 million on ads meant to pressure senators into backing strict new gun control measures, saying Bloomberg "can't buy America."
Making clear he intends to be a counterweight to the NRA, Bloomberg said he wants to make sure the powerful gun lobby is not "the only voice" in this debate. If he can achieve that, Bloomberg said, "then I think my money would be well spent."
LaPierre bristled at Bloomberg's comments.
"He can't spend enough of his $27 billion to try to impose his will on the American public," LaPierre said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." "He can't buy America."
Meanwhile, the NRA just hit its best fundraising totals in a decade.
The group raised nearly $1.6 million in February, according to the latest Federal Election Commission filings posted Tuesday night. February’s numbers follow a $1.1 million haul in January.
The NRA hasn’t posted such strong fundraising numbers since the height of the 2000 presidential campaign, when the committee raised $1.7 million in October.
Heard an interesting theory the other day. That Obama and the Dems are doing all of this to deliberately provoke people to buy guns.
Under the theory, between the forms and background checks, plus transactional records (check, credit and debit card purchases) we already have defacto registration of new purchase firearms.
What they don’t have is a national registry of firearms purchased 20 or 40 or 60 years ago. And those that have been purchased by new gun owners using the gunshow “loophole”
They’re betting that the people buying guns now include a lot of people who aldo have firearms that the government isn’t, and can’t be, aware of. So by stampeding people into buying guns, they’re exposing more of the GUNOWNERS to being identified by one or more datamining techniques. Which will make any future attempts at full registration and confiscation easier to implement.
Millions of “lost guns” in the future.
"Don't compare me to the almighty, compare me to the alternative." --Obama, fundraiser in California, 09-24-11
Caught a fleeting glimpse of king hussein last night on part 4 of “The Bible”.
The problem is that using datamining techniques profiles of gunowners can be compiled to a high degree of expected accuracy.
So first round would be a general registration amnesty. Second round would be targeted at people, by name, who dataming says are gunowners who failed to register under the first amnesty. Third round would be highly publicized example-setting (think of how the RIAA apprached mp3 downloading) followed by a last-chance amnesty.
That’ll get to 99% of the guns. For the remaining 1% the datamining results will be presented as probable cause for search warrants. People claiming to have lost their guns will risk conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges.
A very small % will go molon labe. Even if it’s only 1% of 1% ( for 80 million gunowners that would mean 8000) there’ll be a huge mess that will overwhelm local and state law enforcement. After that? Will the military follow orders to suppress fellow Americans on that level?
It’s this last point that gun control Libs really don’t get. They’re operating under the belief that escalating levels of coercion will be enough. I don’t think it will be. Because when 8000 people are subjected to police action and decide to resist, there’ll suddenly be a lot more than 8000 rising up to stand with them.
Too bad we couldn’t figure out some way to refuse him re-entry into America.
