We’re having a heat wave! How do we know, in the desert? Because the weather prognosticators tell us so! LOL!
But Vegas is good to make sure there are water stations all over the valley for those who just don’t think about rehydrating themselves.
I always have a case of water in the vehicle, just in case.

We hit 110 yesterday, and we’re supposed to hit it again today...fortunately Baby watered the carp out of the corn and potatoes yesterday.

I can relate to that, for sure! And TC? Well, let’s just say I’ve seen her in action and she EARNS every bit of the box wine and Sprite she consumes! :o])

Andrea is getting ready to pay us a visit.
She has big shoes to fill. We just learned that one of the subway tunnels connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan is about to be shut down for a year (assuming no delays to make it longer).
It’s a good thing Mayor Bloomberg was focusing on important things like soda bans rather than trivia like making sure we could handle a big storm.

Yes, it has been a week, and the kittehs were just fine. We have seen only two in real life this week: one crossing a main street toward a shop with Fresh Local Shrimp, and one in a bar.
Our governor has been bombarded by residents, telling him to veto the gun control bill. I can’t imagine, in Nevada, that he would go against the “cowboys!”
I told him I didn’t need to defend myself against the game animals... ;o]
It was so hot here last week that I saw a dog chasing a squirrel in the park.
They were both walking.
