That’s the reason Obama went to bed that evening, he was expecting the terrorists to have taken Stevens as a live hostage according to the plan. However the events unfolded differently.

The point on the organizing the two Marine anti-terrorist teams in Rota, that was good to go ahead and stand ’em up. What I find incomprehensible: The first team, it took them 23 hours to go a few hundred miles from Rota to Tripoli. I could go around the world in 23 hours, so that makes absolutely no sense to me.

There are two links at this site, to a Wash Times article by Lyons and a video. The video was posted June 22, 2012, so it cannot have any bearing on Benghazi. And the Wash Times article doesn’t mention kidnapping at all. One comment in the Wash Times article mentions kidnapping. Pretty misleading blog post.
.... This originally was a blog post dated on 1/17/2013 and the burden will have to be on the proof. Is retired 4 Star Admiral James Lyons slated to testify to this as fact .... or is it conjecture on his behalf? Many of us surmised this same theory but of course we had no proof to back it up. Hopefully Lyons will testify and has substantial proof to bring this huge piece of the Benghazi puzzle to light.
