Giant human colon replica gives the inside track – just take off your shoes first

If you ever wanted to know what it felt like to crawl through a colon you can now find out after a 40-foot-long model of the human part was created – just don’t wear your shoes.

The giant replica is currently on show in Jacksonville, Florida, at the Ostomy Associations of America’s biannual meeting.

The colon is used to transfer waste out of the human system and the model, which is four-foot-tall, allows visitors to get up close and personal to their insides.

Barbara Heidenreich was excited about the exhibit, she wrote on Twitter: ‘Yesterday there was a giant colon you could crawl through at the hotel. Hope it is there again today.’

Kwisatz Haderach was also taken aback by the huge model, he added: ‘What the actual f***, it is a giant inflatable colon. For a good cause tho.’

The model is designed to highlight how to spot problems with the intestinal system which could lead to illness.

They really interviewed a guy named Kwisatz Haderach?

Was it really a colon or a infact Dune worm?

And while normally you’d exit through the gift shop ... Instead, there’s just a picture of the current president.
