What else could the next American Revolution be; A third party?

Ok, NOW are you ready for a Third Party, a party with some fight... come out from among them and be holy, says the Creator to His people... DC is a hell hole filled with power hungry, slathering dogs, who's purpose is to sow discord "among the brethren" (read pre-Obama Americans) so as to ingratiate themselves and impoverish us.

DC is a corrupting influence and no man is immune... even some conservatives who've been lifted by the wings of the tea party are caving. If you're calling yourself a Republican but are disgusted by their lack of will to fight and even capitulate, then become this Third Party Movement... doesn't mean you can't vote for a Cruz for prez, but what it does mean; it will consolidate real political power for conservatism. As it is, conservatism's power is watered down and made ineffectual when deposited in the GOP. Just call it, The Conservative Party; youth fortified, more diverse, but wholly conservative, and upholding the Judeo-Christian beliefs as sacrosanct... our motto "freedom from tyranny"; arguing that tyranny comes from those in power and governments. Our goal is to limit the powers of Federal, State and Local governments, and restoring individual self determinism, property rights and reforming taxation, as a starting point.

Among our FIRST acts will be to limit the number of terms a member of congress can stay in DC. No man has the capacity to resist the corrupting influence of the seat of power in human government. SECOND will be the deconstructing of Federal Bureaucracies. THIRD will be to eliminate the IRS, ridding ourselves of the tyrant's hunting dogs.

What else could the next American Revolution be?... Hey Mark Levin, love ya brother, but if you want real change, ya gotta lead the next American Revolution, if you won't, someone else surely will!

Ok, whose your general, what’s your plan, name your goals... all you’ve said is precisely nothing. “The dwarfs are for the dwarfs” is your battle cry.

Choosing the best name will be important. I don't like calling it the conservative party, because to win it's going to need progressives and even some liberals who think government is out of control. It's also going to need those who want more localism and less federal takeover of responsibilities.

How about the Constitutional Rights party?

"I know it's hopeless but I can't stop recommending that productive people go voluntarily, intelligently, and directly to "rock bottom." Then they don't have to pay income tax. Then the checks TO the government dry up. It can't do anything without our funding."

We have been "going Galt" since late 2008.

We have no employees save one part timer to help my 83 year old Dad do the stuff he still wants to do.

We take no paychecks from the business and are winding it down and paying off all business debt. We are selling our rentals and moving to cash only.

We are starving the Beast legally and many of our business friends are doing the same.

We had a goodly amount of money set aside for the daughter's college. But since we are winding down the business these last few years she now qualifies for all sorts of financial aide for college so she is going to take every dollar she can get.

6 years ago I would have not allowed such and the thought of purposely winding down a profitable business would've never crossed my mind. Now I understand its the only way to hasten the "reset button" and maybe her children will see a Free United States once again. However I don't hold out much hope for such an outcome.

“Oh God, we are so doomed...”

There is no “Happily Ever After”, but that doesn’t mean we have to give in to “doom” without a fight.

So, what’s your plan? How do you propose to establish a third party? Do you want to start at the top? Get a third party president or governor without the support of a party infrastructure throughout the system?

That probably won’t work. It will require the support of members of the other two parties to get anything done. That will require compromise and political deals and tradeoffs which will likely cost the support of the elected one’s own party, because Conservatives seem to be like that.

You have to build a political infrastructure from the bottom up, or from somewhere near the bottom and then build in both directions. You have to work with like minded people in other areas for a groundswell effect, or establish a firm, strong political base in a smaller area which will support expansion. You have to have cohesion and endurance.

So, again, what’s your plan? What are you doing at your level?

What a crock. We've already got lots of "third" parties. Libertarian Pary, Constitution Party, Socialist Party, Communist Party, Green Party, ... All promised to do wondrous things, and all failed badly.

The only one that was anywhere close to being successful in recent history was Ross Perot's in 1992, and it gave us Bill Clinton.

Best to work within the top two that we already have.

I fall into that category. But I can't forget what happened in 1992. A third party at this point would once again play into Billary's hands. You can bet that Madame Billary is salivating at the idea.

I am but a soldier in search of a general. I have no power of persuasion and whatever I propose would be poo-pooed, as the many responses here illustrate... my main point is Revolution.

How do you instigate the next American Revolution. Looking back to the first one, almost no one wanted it, it was a dumb idea, and King George III would have everybody’s heads; and we’d be worse off in the end, so they thought... that seems to be the consensus here. But I say otherwise... it is time for the few to rise up from the ranks and lead us on to the next American Revolution. If we become a third viable party, we then have political justification to fight in arms if need be and be organized if we have to. And short of that, we stand in opposition to the present and dark tyranny, now engulfing us.

Sigh, that makes two of us I guess.

Best ... destroy the Parties we already have and start over...!

Piffle! That's the same mantra that the other "third" parties chanted, and they might just as well be chasing rainbows.

Reality is that the only parties that have any shot of winning are either the Republicans or Democrats. Period.

Sure, IF you wish to maintain the status quo. Which, if so, then I refer you back to the Einstein quote.

no parties, no politicians...

There's a certain regretful joy in what you're doing.

My wife is filipina and if she wasn't so into becoming a citizen, we'd be there now.

After her citizenship, I'll have a better shot at her ... there'll be nothing left for her to accomplish.

She's conservative.

Well if it don’t happen soon, it will never happen. Ya see government continues to flood the country with millions of foreigners, illegal aliens, Muslims etc..

Simply put, they are incrementally going to outnumber conservative Americans eventually.

Divide the united.

That is true. The time for a Conservative Party was probably while GHW was proving that he, and Republicans in general, are not Conservatives. I firmly believe that the USA’s “tipping point” came about then. Everything we do now is effort to stave off the inevitable a few more months. I think we will, in a few years, look back on this time right now and ask each other, “Why didn’t we get out when we still could?”
