Buried in a New York Times story about the economy was this arresting statistic: Median family income for black Americans has declined a whopping 10.9 percent during the Obama administration. It has declined for other groups as well -- 3.6 percent for non-Hispanic whites and 4.5 percent for Hispanics - but the figure for blacks is huge. This decline does not include losses suffered during the financial crisis and the recession that followed, but it instead measures declines since June 2009, when the recession officially ended.

Would it interest black moviegoers to know that under Ronald Reagan's policies, median African American household incomes increased by 84 percent (compared with 68 percent for whites)? The poverty rate dropped during the 1980s from 14 percent down to 11.6 percent. The black unemployment rate dropped by 9 percentage points. The number of black-owned businesses increased by 38 percent and receipts more than doubled.

Yet they continue to vote for him at a ratio of 92%-8%, unbelievable.

But were he not indifferent to their plight, could he so aggressively push an "immigration reform," which will fill millions of potential jobs that could help Black youth, with folk imported from South of our unprotected Southern border?

But Blacks like Sharpton are firmly on the Obama Plantation and can't bring himself to criticize the Black President.
There is another subtler way he has been bad for black Americans. Since many of the 90 plus percent blacks who voted for him, voted only because he was black and knew he was not good for the country, I personally, & I suspect others, have a re-christened view of black people. For instance, I was on a plane yesterday and an elderly black man was sitting across from me. I found myself feeling much less cordial than I normally would. Not proud of it, but couldn’t help it.

How can he look out for the interests of those he claims to embrace when likely the closest he has been to a ghetto (not surrounded by body guards) is flying over one in Air Force 1? --and even then, he's going home to sleep between at least 300 count sheets and he knows it.
He might as well be from a different planet.

I’m so glad you said that, because I have to admit to the same thing. I am on two teams at work, and one of them is me and four other black females. I find myself suspicious of every paper I have to review, and every meeting I have to lead. I find myself trusting them less and less. My problem, I fully admit, but I have to ask myself how did this happen?
In Medicaid, if you don’t have a bleeding heart, and if you don’t willingly slam the evil conservatives who want to kill poor people, then your credibility is questioned. I work with some educated, rational people with degrees and decades of experience in accounting and economics. But to question a state as to how much their program will cost taxpayers, you’d think we had suggested they bury their Medicaid recipients in a mass grave. I knew that the day he was filmed for the news, visiting his relatives in Africa and getting AIDS tested (wow, he was negative), he had been crowned the heir apparent. To be blunt, blacks love that Africa stuff. Makes them feel progressive and educated and enlightened. So when he showed them how he, an American black male, had ties to the poor Africans, he upped his creds. It was over.
Simply amazing, isn’t it. Packaged and sold like pancake mix. He’s a fraud.
Asking if Obama is good for Black Americans is like asking if cancer is good for your lungs.
He’s good for nothing.......well, he would be a good scarecrow.
