Survivor: Blood vs. Water is the 27th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, September 18, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
Redemption Island returns, but with a twist: remaining players will be forced to choose whether to "save" their partner on Redemption Island and switch places with them, thus allowing their partner to immediately re-enter the game, or leave them in exile to survive on their own.
As with the last two seasons, this season takes place in the Philippines, but in a different location: Palaui Island, Cagayan.

They have background music?
Hey, I’ve got dogs, cats, grand baby, and the rest of the family hanging out in the living room with me. I have to try and filter out everything during the show.
While Blood vs Water seems to be a good idea they should have only allowed “couples”. The kids have been the weak point on the newbie’s team.
Yay!! Colton’s gone!! It was a big mistake bringing him back and then to find out he faked an appendicitis attack the last time?? Whoa. One thing’s for certain ... we’ll never have to see him again. Strategically I understand why the other team chose to send whatshisname to RI, but for a team that consistently loses, I think I would have waited just a little longer.
I can’t stand the LOUD BLASTING commercials on tv and have resorted to turning off the sound on one tv and using the closed captioning. Wish I’d thought of this years ago.
Hahaha, the mamas have beaten the kiddies.
Bye bye, Colton. How could Mark have brought back a quiter over someone who would have loved to have had another chance.
The newbies may have shot themselves in the foot voting off John. Ciera should have been gone. John would be a danger to have around at merger but now is not the time to vote off your strength.
The problem with the closed captioning at times is that while you’re reading it you miss the facial expressions which are are often quite telling and priceless.
Jeff should not have let him quit as there was no medical issue. He should have made him stay and made him compete in the challenge and made him throw his bout to give the other team the advantage in challenge. Instead Jeff makes those weak girls on the “loved ones” compete more than once when he knew they didn’t stand much of a chance.
There should have been only one leaving last night — Colton — and Jeff could have made it eventful but instead he let Colton off the hook and took the easy way out.
I say shame on Jeff for that whole episode last night.
In addition to John, it was also his decision to vote off Marissa who could have won her challenge last night. Instead he keeps bony Ciera. And last night he votes out the guy who won his wrestling match.
Brad as a leader has done nothing but weaken his tribe week after weak by his poor decision-making.
Brad’s made a whole lot of enemies thus far and the game is still young — his days are numbered.

I know it’s just a nitpick, but quitters should be listed in the eliminated, they should have their own line of shame. :)
If Colton had not quit, would we have ever been told by Jeff that Colton faked his appendicitis the first time around???
When were they going to tell us — or were they???
And what’s the deal about him keeping his buff as some sort of dishonor. He’ll have it as a memento that others won’t and probably sell it on ebay for $1000+.

That will be fixed the next time around. It will still be under “Eliminated” but it will look like this:

That thing should have been burned for medical reasons.
Best part? ‘His entire life’ stayed on the show and kept on playing. That wasn't according to plan, Colton was going to have his snuggle bunny all season, and there he goes to loser island...
Jeff has always said that there is one person who will never be invited back to Survivor and that is a QUITTER.
So then he knows that Colton quit last time and is a QUITTER and yet he invites this QUITTER back again.
They should have made Colton wrestle Caleb for the right to quit.
What they should have done is say ‘If you completely ignore the cameras for the next five hours, saying nothing to them at all during this time, we’ll let you leave the game a second time as a quitter. If you fail, you’ll be sued by CBS for fraud and be ejected from the game.’
