Lessons In Urban Warfare: “People Will Die In Huge Numbers”
SHTF School ^ | 9/7/13 | Selco

We are at interesting point in time. It might be point that changes human history if some of those who rule us (sorry to call it like that but that is situation right now) play their game and it escalates. Im happy to know most of you have already proper storage and skills to try your best when storm hits. Let’s hope we don’t need anything of this.

If you have time, stop eating (but maybe get drink) and spend half hour to watch the video below. It is just out since 4th of September 2013 but shows bit older video footage of people fighting for their survival in Syria in current conflict. It’s bloody and maybe disturbing for some, so maybe don't eat. I speak a lot about how I moved through city and fought in my survival course and see many similarities. Too many, so I had to take some breaks looking at this. Anyway, I have comments about this video below.

Make fencing of thorny stuff. Plant it inside your lot line, cut it low the first year, weave it together as it grows. (Greenbrier and Hell-fetter bindweed are really nasty brambles. I don’t know that I would want them around even if they are effective.)

Here we go. A link to the place where the left wing loops back on the right!

In Kansas there are a lot of Osage Orange trees used as fencing. Easy to plant. begins to grow, string your barbed wire right between the young trees.

with 2 elderly parents I’ve got to Fort up, but I’m in a better position than most, not road wise for ours is a cut through between two “major” roads, but I’m retired Marine, my neighbor is retired Marine, across the road are some damn fine hunters (went with them last winter, good ol boys), so we’ll all band together, share food, the watch, and everything else.

Good neighbors will help with every aspect of SHTF, and maybe we’ll all survice it.

We have so many white wing dove here, it is unbelievable. White tail deer are pets to some people. I add an “s” in front of the “t”, and call them pests. Living on a lake, I catch 15 - 20 crappie daily. I’ve been giving away bags of filets to friends and neighbors.

You are so lucky. We don’t have enough area to have a fish pond here.

Those who cling to normalcy bias will deny it: the race war has already begun.

It did not start with riots in the streets and ash in the skies, as we thought it would.

It started with the word being quietly put out by the Left and the Media, and now whites are being hunted on the streets by feral blacks.

But the Leftists don’t want you to know it yet. They don’t want you to know that you’re part of an obvious, in-your-face race war. They want whites to feel an undertow of dread, to feel powerless and helpless against the black horde that is lurking, waiting inside the urban kraals.

The ever-mounting tide of hate from the Left is frightening people. Fear causes paralysis. And that leads to inaction, whether by not acting against it, or refusing to accept the truth.

Face the truth: he race war has begun, and the feral blacks are the shock troops.

Yes, I do. Only in the perp category, not in victim, however. So it really skews the numbers.

Still, it is what we have to work with. It does mean that every time those numbers are really used, it should be with an asterisk explaining that.

If you want to read about urban warfare, read books about the Germans in Stalingrad.
It was a 3D war. Sewers, high building and street level fighting.
It is a terrible business which favors the defenders.

Travis: This is a useful technique for testing smaller batteries without any meters or probe-led testers.

I have just conducted tests with a battery I specifically discharged, and one tested to be full.

They are both AA's. Upon full discharge, I attempted a test on a steel stovetop. The test failed. Both batteries landed with a thud and stood up.

I further tested outside on concrete, because I reasoned that the steel plate had some 'give'. My hunch was correct. The discharged battery bounced when dropped from a height of an inch, the full battery landed with a thud when dropped from the same height. Both batteries toppled, but I attribute this to the imperfectly-flat concrete.

This technique is CONFIRMED. You must use an unyielding surface, and if there is any angle or imperfection, the standing portion of the test must be discounted. The only portion of the test that is functional is the 'bounce' or failure to do same.

The aim of the elite seem to be to separate people from their assets any way possible.

That is the ultimate goal of the healthcare bill.

There is a worldwide buyers market.

Don’t pick your nose.

7 years ago my wrist swole up. Me and DR. thought it was gout. No outside sores, no obvious infected sites. A few days later, wrist still swollen, groin became so painful I could hardly walk. Finally a scan revealed internal infections, MRSA... Took two weeks from first wrist swelling to being rolled into operation room. Anesthesiologist said “Can’t do procedures due to low “something” and he might not recover from “entubation”.
Dr. said..”Moot point, if we don’t do surgery NOW!, he will be dead from sepsis by morning.”

Two 3 month courses of IV antibotics, replaced hip due to bone infection, still here.

Found out 30% of population would test positive for MRSA nose swab. I had picked my nose, it bled and got sore a few days before wrist swelled.

In a SHTF situation, dead after two weeks of nose pick.

We don’t have enough area to have a fish pond here.

Lake Travis is a flood control lake that is 62 miles long from dam to dam. It has areas that are almost 200' deep when full. Right now, it is about 30% full and dropping daily. We need a flood to fill it again. Last two floods, Austin was lucky it was at a low level when the floods hit, or it would have gone over Mansfield Dam and flooded the lower parts of the city.

I have two stock tanks on the land I own about 80 miles from my home. I can go there if things get bad here, and live off the land. I just need to start a garden there and visit it more often.

outofsalt, my memory is good - I think it’s because I never stop learning and using my brain.

Laz, jeans and a shirt are separate pieces most likely of different colors and would stand out more than a solid navy blue top and bottom. The navy blue will also be good for going outside in the dark in my back garden or at front - it won’t be noticeable in the dark. My blond hair would be noticeable in the dark which is why I got the hoodie.

I also got the hoodie to show my support for Trayvon - and if you believe that, I have ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
