Heights don’t bother me. Being up on a swaying top heavy platform would make my uncomfortable.

The Author wants to give back each and every day. The day he forgets he is 30 foot in the air and walks out the door...would be the ultimate give back to society IMHO!

If this camper is a-rockin...

Look out!

Nevermind waking up in the middle of the night drunk and going out to water the trees...

Now that’s a good idea!
And it would not have to go up so dang far for that.

***Yes, simply self contained, not necessairly a high rise. The author goes off the deep end here.

I think it might be handy when the coming zombie apocalypse hits.

It would need something like gyroscopic stabilization in order to not afflict the occupant with mal de la stilts.

The ones whose limbs don’t fall of could probably clamber up the jack’s structure members...

It is purely “art”. Totally non-functional. No guy wires, unstable in the slightest wind.

I bet they put it up for fast photos and take it down quickly, lest the wind pick up.

I had one of these. Bought it to use in Grizzly country. Filthy, stinkin’ down-button pushing bears figured it out. Sitting down there clapping his paws together like a trained seal getting a fish. I hate ‘em.

Yup, as a ham my first thought was “It needs guy wires...lots of guy wires.”

You could drive in long stakes at an angle around the camper to anchor the guys and then raise the camper and tighten the wires up with some sort of 12v power winches.

Then you lower it a little and it snips off all the hangers. Or something.
