This was an excellent, promising student, and all of us in the college deeply mourn him. Really? Sorry, but my mourning stops when someone is making bombs that will likely be used later to harm innocent people.

This was an excellent, promising student, and all of us in the college deeply mourn him.” - This is an example of why America is on the cusp of disintegration. How can faculty and students feel any empathy, much less visit him, when he was planning on blowing up some Americans, maybe even "faculty" and "students."
Also, anyone suffering 90% burns is not in much condition to receive visitors. The pain would have been either exquisite or kept him unconscious.
