Modern greens who inappropriately and metaphorically often use the term “denier” to compare global warming skeptics to Holocaust deniers are shockingly betrayed by their very own environmental history. The ‘progressive’ Left is obsessed with an inverse form of racism so that it essentially defines everything by it. In so doing, the whole push on racism as defined by the Left also routinely breaks Godwin’s Law because the whole point is to compare the right with Nazis.

Godwin’s law is a vacuous platitude.

It arises from people tired of dealing with people who throw spurious allegations of a connection to the policies of the Third Reich towards everything with which they disagree.

The problem with it is, that there are legitimate political concerns which do parallel the nazis. They do need to he addressed. It is a road that will be traveled again, and we need to be alert and head that off.

Godwin’s Law is a cure which is orders of magnitude worse than the disease.

The hysteria over the “Green Menace” (man causing global warming and extreme environmental disasters) is far more overstated and hysteric than the so called “Red Menace” (the threat of global imperialist Communism and Communist espionage working as a fifth column within the media, State Department, US military, academia, and labor unions).

I would sharply disagree with. Communism is dead. Marxism predicted an industrial paradise free from work and class based on the humanistic progress of man. No one takes this seriously today. The Left has replaced Marxism with the irrationality of Post Modernism, and Post-Modernism has its primary roots in Fascism rather than Humanism or the Enlightenment. In truth, Post Modernism means Post Marxism, and in Post Modernism, Nature replaces man. Even Gorbachev is in charge of the Green Cross International these days. The Commies have become greens, and thereby have switched over to Fascism. Environmentalism is running America into the ground every time you buy gas, groceries, rent, etc. - even buy a home - where up to 50% of housing costs these days are tied up in environmental regulations.

The Peter Principle is that people advance to their level of incompetence. These ECO alarmists get into positions to regulate use of the environment, yet they don’t know jack about the real environment.

I don't think that Communism is dead or that the "Red Scare" (as the critics of the investigations called it) was hollow.

The critics of HCUAA and investigations into international subversive activity in America said that it was scare mongering.

What is BULLCRAP from leftists that the oceans will rise 20 feet, 5 hurricanes will be ongoing in both hemispheres, etc...

I'm calling out the Green Scare as a conspiracy to defraud Western nations of their capital and redistribute the wealth to third world dictatorships (who "haven't used their share of the world's resources") while some moneychangers (like Al Gore) stand to skim $$$ off every carbon credit transfer. Communism is seen as a means on control, not “equality”. Animal Farm posits that some animals are equal than others. The billionaire politburo want it to remain that way. Not every billionaire is a Marxist but among the loudest voices calling for Socialism are numerous billionaires (who won’t be giving up their holdings).

The difference between Communism and Fascism is that Communism emphasized humanism and class, whereas Fascism emphasized nature, racism/and or culture. The Left has become completely enmeshed in nature, racism and culture. They left the Marxist industrial paradigm long ago.
