JACKSON, Miss. —A 3-year-old girl who was attacked by pit bulls in April was asked to leave a Jackson restaurant because her scars scared customers, the girl's grandmother told 16 WAPT News.
"Does this face look scary to you?" accompanied a picture of Victoria Wilcher on the Facebook page Victoria's Victories, which documents the child's recovery from the attack at her grandfather's home in Simpson County. Authorities said one of Donald Mullins' dogs ripped open the back door and jumped on the girl. Two other dogs dragged her into the back yard and began mauling her, investigators said.
"The right side of her face is paralyzed. She's got a lot of surgeries to go through and she won't even look in the mirror anymore," said Victoria's grandmother, Kelly Mullins. "When we go to a store, she doesn't even want to get out (of the car). She's 3 years old and she's embarrassed about what she looks like. She's embarrassed and I hate it because she shouldn't be. It ain't her fault."

What the dog did was wrong...but what people are doing to this child is far more so.
If she doesn’t want to look in a mirror or go out right now, perhaps you could try take-out to avoid traumatizing her further? (as distasteful as it is for the restaurant to have asked her to leave)
Poor baby girl. Shame on the manager of that restaurant.
That poor little girl...what a cruel thing to do.
I hope the family sues the socks off the restaurant. I would imagine this could be classed as discrimination against the disabled or something of that nature.
And grandpa didn't shoot the third dog because?
This young child will live to see the day they can rebuild her face perfectly. It will be the miracle of nano-tech and robotics combined with medicine.
Why do people keep these dangerous animals? They need to be exterminated for the public good. It’s as dangerous as keeping lions as pets.

Yeah. Right. First time ever.
So WHY is the pit bull dog still around that belonged to the grandfather. I don´t understand. It would take about 5 seconds for me to get rid of a dog that did something like this to my grand daughter.... I pitty the poor girl who still has a grandfather who wants to keep an agressor in the family.

The pit bull is an animal. The customers and management of the restaurants are below that.

I wouldn’t go that far but there are definite liabilities that have to be accepted. The dogs are certainly more dangerous than any gun. Any dog can be dangerous and it grows with size and power.
Time to put on your big girl pants and get over your liberal "feelings rule everything" attitude.
