What are you reading? There used to be a quarterly "What are you reading?" thread, but I haven't seen it for a long time. I got a lot of good book suggestions that way, and I miss it.

I read the Dust Bowl book. Never anything by Dean Koontz, though.

It’s told by the family dog, Enzo.
You have to keep reminding yourself that it is the dog telling the story. The author was masterful in his ability to do that on such a high level. Excellent. Enjoy.

Been reading the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child for a while. I started with the first book “Killing Floor” last year and I just finished “The Affair” which is book 16. It is a great series and Jack Reacher is an awesome character

As a teenager I borrowed 'Flint' from another kid at summer camp. In short, I was captivated. Unfortunately I was unable to finish the book before camp ended and had to return it. Years later (having read everything else I could find at the library) I finally bought my own copy of Flint.
My biggest disappointment was that LL was only able to finish the first installment of the character Kerbouchard (The Walking Drum), which I believe was he last book.

I love the Percy Jackson series - I think Riordan does best writing in the first person. The 5th (battle of NY) is my fave. Try the Kane Chronicles. They are written the same way, I love the 2nd one.
