"“People who saw that happen are now convinced there are no safe places left,” Mr. Yousef said."

Yeah, when you launch missile strikes from schools, hospitals and private homes those places tend to get retaliated against. My Give-A-$#*+ Meter is pegging at zero.

Why, they don't like living like Israelis under random bombardment from Hamas?

Disregard the 400 rockets stored there, and the fact that Hamas had the children tied to chairs.

They can’t see what they’re shooting at

Unlike the unguided rockets fired by Hamas, artillery whether ground-bound or afloat generally has forward observers calling corrections back to the battery.

While the indirect fire shooters can't see what they're shooting at - they certainly aren't firing blind.

Tanks, OTOH, have eyes on the target and I don't believe for one minute they don't know what they're shooting at.

The article remains silent about the REASON for the shelling until the very end...oh, by the way, Hamas rockets have “been found” in the UN schools, which the UN has turned over to “Gaza based security” which is a blatant euphemism for Hamas. And THIS time they will not turn over these rockets (the ones in the school that is getting the ever-loving snot shelled out of it) to Hamas....riiiiiggghhhht. This glimpse of fragments of truth comes after a long drone of “look at these poor people who have no place to go.”

WRONG! Earlier in the article, it says that they fled as Israeli forces advanced...or they chose to remain with the immoral, evil Hamas rather than live peaceably behind Israeli lines. You made your choices, and your children suffer....quite crying to the world about the consequences of your evil choices.

“My house was burned and death followed us here,” said Ahmed Mousa, 50, who was in the school courtyard when the shells hit. “Where am I supposed to go?” Answer: Wrong, you have followed death (Hamas and terrorism and Jew-hatred) your entire miserable life, and death has just decided to turn on you. Where are you supposed to go? As far from the evil Hamas and their culture of death as you can possibly manage. Until you do that, you are complicit in all of this bloodshed.

I’ll bet this is in an area Israel advised civilians to leave.

“When they started naval bombardment, artillery and tank fire, that’s just not as accurate as airstrikes. They can’t see what they’re shooting at...

Hamas uses unguided rockets. Why can't the Israelis? /S

Only 20 killed? Considering the cost of ordinance that is a mediocre return on investment. Kill them all.

No decent parent would send their kids to school during a war that was just outside the front door. If children were in this school then it was through force by Hamas that put them there, or it was just the normal course of satanic Islam.

“They can’t see what they’re shooting at, so we’ve seen more destruction, more damage, more death.”

I seriously doubt the IDF is randomly firing in Gaza, as she suggests. US doctrine is to have an observer, and I’m sure the IDF’s is the same. Gaza is a very ‘static’ target - the IDF probably have permanent observation points all around it.

And, modern artillery is very accurate - in fact, if they would just keep the rocket launchers 500 meters away from a school (1/3 mile), there would be almost no chance a school would get hit.

A B-17 crew was informed today that they had blown up a school in their campaign to rid the world of nazis.

“No more flying for us,” the aircraft commander was heard to say. “We’re done.”

And so the japs and germans won the war.
