15 Things Truly Happy People Don’t Care For
Goloveit.com ^

Posted on 08/28/2014 2:11:57 PM PDT by Vendome

Interesting observation about happy people live.

Me? I pretty much could care less what most people say about me.

It's a Great Life if you Don't Weaken.

Don't Take Life so Seriously, No is Getting Out of This Thing Alive.

To be sure, there are serious moments in the course kf a day but, so what?

Deal with it and be greatful for the rest of the day and find gratitude for the smallest of things.

Some people see rain and go "Ugh! ".

I see rain and imagine greener pastures, flower and if it's winter I definitely think "Rain? Let's see what the snow report is in Tahoe".

A month ago my brother and went fishing in his boat. Damned engine crapped out on us 5 miles up from the dock where we started.

No problemo!

We broke out oars and paddled the boat back, all they while catching fish as we drifted between rounds of oar pulling.

We had a great time and even laughed our butts off when lost Rapal lures we couldn't retrieve.

Point is; "Life is a Lemonade Stand. Drink up and enjoy the cool refreshing flavor, with some mint leaves"

"...my personal "set me free" bit of wisdom that widened my whole perspective, and that was "You can accomplish anything if you don't care who gets the credit."

I had a similar one when I was about 36 that gave me a pretty good push forward. Something like "You can accomplish anything if you don't care whether you succeed or not." Some years later a friend defined the underlying problem I was working on there. "Hesitation, doubt and fear." And the cure. "Don't have 'em." lol

That wasn't as liberating as realizing that all the people who were judging me were being manufactured in my own brain box but it did give my confidence a big boost.

Thanks. I came up with it a few years ago and it really works. You really remember when you get out of the problem more than when all goes well.

""One of mine is that the way to move on from mistakes is to learn from them, and then apply what you've learned.

The jury's out on whether or not it works! {^)

Oh, it works! Fail early, fail often and learn. It's the only way to survive as an entrepreneur.

You haven't lost until you quit. ;-)

Better than a big dose of sanity meds, isn’t it? (And costs a lot less than a shrink.)
