Anyone ever had dogs & cats in your area acting like they're scared but you can't figure out why?

Several people in my area have noted that their pets are acting weird. The behavior usually amounts to staring out windows and doors whining and shivering and hiding under tables and other furniture etc. .

Or if they are outside they badly want inside even though they never do much any other time.

They also keep tails tucked and sort of slink around like they are in distress.

This is not one or two people but my count has over 20 different households within a ten mile radius that have pets acting in the same way for about 3 days now.

My dog can not seem to settle down and wants to be as close as he can get to me and the Missus. Some thought it is the festival in town but it just set up Yesterday and the behavior has been going on longer than that. And we had no such behavior last year reported.

We are all at a loss and the local vet has no idea but he tells us dogs and cats can sense stuff humans can't.

Oh, yes they do. Just not lately. It could be that there are mini tremors that they have never felt before.

Of course if you are into the deep conspiracies, they might be moving the aliens from Wright Patterson in the underground tunnels.

But I am going to go with micro tremors coming out of the New Madrid fault zone.

Ant franking in the area. That could cause some sloshing around.

Well, when it gets BIBLICAL proportions, the dogs and cats start living together.

Correction, while the fault lies through the seven states mentioned, on December 16, 1811, the first of two quakes along the New Madrid also affected DC, Virginia, South Carolina and also forced the evacuation of Lebanon, Ohio.

Gulf South.
I figured it was a feral cat(s) prowling the neighborhood that scared off the squirrels into the swamp.

Boston proper is full of Irish Catholics, and the surrounding middle class areas have tons of very active churches.

But this area was also ground zero for the homo priest covens. That did huge damage to the local parishes. It will come back.

“Our town is basically and abandoned Coal Mine.

We have lost over 20 houses and a Church to mine shafts subsiding...”

My ears just pointed. Seriously.
My dogs are all acting normal, but this thread is freakin’ me out big time.

Obama needs to knock out only nine substations to kill the entire electric grid, and kill 90% of Americans within one year. All the personnel and weaponry are in place.

Up by Lake Erie we had them all the time. There is a fault in that area.

William F. Buckley said something similar back in the 60s. I think he used a term something like the U.S. is dependent on what he called flow technology.

Disable one critical element and things begin to fail sort of like dominoes.
