Just as I was getting out of the shower and getting dressed yesterday, I heard a voice at my door:
Voice: Knock! Knock!
Me: Who is it?
Voice: Your favorite!
Me: UPS???
Voice: That’s me. How come you didn’t get the package? I left it right here in plain sight.
Me: (still struggling with a robe) You’re shinin’ me on!
Voice: Actually, I left it at 15-C and I don’t know why I did that!
Me: (finally dressed and out the door) You’re forgiven! Just remember who keeps you working for your pennies!
And he handed me the box of pills! It made me feel good that he admitted what he did and felt comfortable enough to tease me about his mistake.
So all is well in Faceville. I walked for another 35 minutes this morning, but Busdaddy was with me (he should have been at work, but took an FMLA day) and we walked faster than I would have walked had I been alone.
He continued after I came home, but he overdid it as I knew he would. We had already walked almost two miles, and he isn’t used to much more than that. Then he got lost and was really tired when he came back.
I’d make the walk for the pizza...
Thought could have Geron make the trip out to lemon land to secure meals for Better Half and I but didn’t work. We were going to share a fiver. Thus to lemon land I go. The “Ambition Song”(s) was/were great. There is so much on the interwebs have never seen and when seeing something new am forever content and a day.
