I'm a dyed in the wool ditto-head and have been so for many years. To be honest, I'm finding you less and less "listenable." You seem to be losing your edge. While I download your podcasts, I more and more frequently find myself fast-forwarding past the lengthy spiels on the latest I-phones, sports happenings, and your winning your umpteenth Marconi Award, that is, when I bother to listen at all. Listening to your broadcast used to be the highpoint of everyday. I never thought I'd say this but I no longer count it a great lose if I go for days without listening. I'm heartsick to say it. Please don't think this is a plant or that I'm a seminar caller. Check it and you'd see that I've subscribed since the beginning. I may not do so any longer. Maybe it can be summed up like this: I used to find hope by listening to you but it seems like even you have lost hope. I could say more but won't, except for this: I'm a rock-ribbed, hard core, conservative listener and have been for years. If you've lost me, you've probably lost several thousands. For what it's worth......
That may not be relevant considering the damage President bamster has done and will continue to do. As the world burns to the ground, and as our culture continues to dumpster dive as a result of leaving these damned America haters in office, you can be sure that all of these people are preening around FR bragging about how good is is that we don't have a RINO squish in the Presidency.
I marvel at the ability of these people who are so insane as to believe a Marxist, pro-muzzie, race baiting, America hating, over the top hater of all things good deserved to stay in office and there wouldn't be earth shattering consequences to doing so. They preen around this place as if they've done something good......

Rush was once engaged in DC politics, being present in New York and being present at the DC affairs. Today he reads about such stuff in the papers.
I salute Rush for all he has done and still tries to do, but his information is stale and his content less than interesting. He woke America up in 1988 (Myself in 1992) and made a difference few can ever claim, but he needs to get back in the game.
I didn’t know Michael Berry was on 950am, I listen to him on 740am in Houston. He is on 740am from 8am to 11am, then Rush comes on until 2pm. Michael Berry is on 740am again from 5pm to 7pm. You don’t have to miss Rush to hear Michael. I know he is on in several other parts of the country but I don’t know his schedule.

If you actually understood Rush you’d know just how stupid that comment was. Rush asks for participation not mind-numbed robots.
I have to agree with you. I know where Rush stands on most issues, and I still enjoy hearing his “take” on them. He usually has an angle that I have not considered. But I miss the trumpet “fanfare” that used to precede his various topical updates and other features of his show that have been jettisoned. It would be cool to hear the theme song associated with a “Transgender Update,” for example. And perhaps I just miss them, but I used to enjoy hearing the phone calls from those who had the temerity to disagree with Rush. Maybe they have learned not to call after the thrashing Rush gives them, but I still miss them.
I still listen from time to time, but I seldom tune in to make sure I don’t miss any more than I have to.
His morning Rush moments are only political.
Rush is enjoyable to listen to. If you can't handle him, good riddance.

It was not my intent to elevate the importance of either the NEA or the DOE. Quite the contrary.
He’s on 950 starting at noon. I only get to listen to an hour because my lunch is an hour.
Now if you want some really good stuff listen to Walton & Johnson on 950 early in the morning. I listen to them on my way to work (6-6:30). They are hysterical and not PC in the least bit.
I make a point to listen to Rush when something is going on. Like when he’s going to parse a speech by the Hero of Benghazi. Or perhaps tomorrow to see if he covers the benghazi hearing.
I geta kick when he announces open line Friday and then takes 90+ minutes to take a call.
Dennis Prager is a nice change of pace. And Larry Elder when I get to him.
Reporting the upheaval day after day without pause can be awful. I read most of the threads here because I find the little known news to be nuggets linking this mayhem to a bigger agenda. I can’t listen to Rush unless online (philly suburb) and even FoxNews Sunday is on at 2pm in the afternoon. There is no news talk radio here.
Instead of regurgitating the news, what we need is a summary of the issues and then the options to fix the problems. Spend more time on fixing. Give the listeners a job to do. Motivate the listener to get involved even if it is just a phone call or writing a snail mail letter or sharing something on a liberal website or responding to an original liberal editorial.
Have guests on the program who have real solutions. Someone who knows history and the rules for radicals could come up with solutions that work and reveal what the enemy of the republic is working towards. Calling people a big dope isn’t all that constructive without explaining to the dope where he is wrong and then getting the listeners to join the PTA or whatever needs to be done to turn this nation around, Biblically known as repenting.
What we need is a REAL community organizer. LOL
