Not satire. NBC just doesn't pretend.

I saw a survey a while.back in which Stewart was high on the list of most admired journalists in America.

20,and 30 somethings watch his show as if it is a real news show.

Compared to the idiots now Occupying the seats of journalists, HE IS. Hell even Colbert has more gravatas and he’s acting.

They’re missing out by not going with Special Eddie Schultz or Al “Chip Ole’” Sharpton. Sunday morning comedy would be a real hoot! Resist we much!

I figure he had to turn them down because Princess Warren has offered him the VP slot in 2016.

I worked in newsrooms for many years. If people had any idea how literally moronic the people are who feed them their soma...

Having worked on the inside I assure you that the American public consuming ‘news’ is utterly wasting parts of their lives in return for corrupted and outright false information. Whether it’s NBC or the local paper.

I have a relative that sends me YouTube clips of Stewart to make political points....

He fails to understand it’s entertainment, not news...

Why not, the show hasn’t had credibility since Tim Russert died. And, that was some times questionable in itself.

Not since Bill Monroe.
Since then it’s been increasingly about making idiot viewers feel good- which Stewart has proven he can do very well.
