Radio in VA reports Gillespie about to throw in towel (unconfirmed)

Radio reporting Gillespie going to throw in towel. Do we know which precinct in Fairfax turned in the final votes that put Warner over the top? Seems pretty suspicious, when Gillespie was ahead right up to that point, then Fairfax turns in just enough for a Warner "win".

How can anyone not be furious about democrat vote fraud?

Two years ago in the Virginia Governors race didn’t democrats financially support the libertarian campaign? Did they do it again this time? If it’s true now or then, to me it takes away any legitamacy or credibility the libertarians have.

Fairfax wasn’t. Arlington (then called Alexandria County) was until 1846.

One of the original boundary survey markers (stones) is almost in my backyard. It’s pretty cool to think how hard things must have been in our area in those days.

George Washington was also a Virginia surveyor. He may have placed that stone there!....................

Sarvis is a perennial candidate. Wouldn’t surprise me if DEMS supported him. But George Allen was damaged goods and ran a very poor race.

Macaca?

George Allen wasn't damaged goods.

George Allen was timid and stupid.

He should have shoved the Washington comPost's macaca down their nasty, VD infected throats.

Instead, he apologized.

Let this be a lesson ...

The problem is that about 90% of those living in Fairfax/Arlington really have no connection to the rest of Virginia. They consider themselves Washingtonians and really could care less about what happens in Richmond.

It is going to be very interesting to see how long the rest of Virginia is going to take being ruled by a couple of counties in Northern Virginia that have virtually nothing in common with the rest of the Commonwealth. It literally is a different world up there.

here in FL the 3 or 4 lib counties wait for the other counties to report, even waiting for the panhandle to close and report in.

This way they know how many votes they need, thankfully we managed to fight off their fraud

“I’m not a libertarian, but those people who vote libertarian are saying, “we don’t like the R or the D”. So it’s jumping to conclusions to think that any of those voters would vote for the R or the D, especially in great enough numbers to make a difference for either candidate.”

” Does the Libertarian Party lack the right to run a candidate? OF COURSE NOT!

Do individual citizens lack the right to vote for the Libertarian candidate? OF COURSE NOT!

If the Republican party wants some of those 50k votes, it bloody well has to EARN them.”

changes nothing

“People aren’t forced to vote for Sarvis. The Cuccinelli-McAwful exit polls showed that the Sarvis vote would have been split about equally between Dems and Reps had he not been in the race.”

um

right

polling in va was right on target

Sounds like the perfect solution. Most of the people in Fairfax say they’re from “DC” or the “DC area.” Might as well make it official.

I’m in a conservative county in western VA and I can tell you most of us don’t like it one little bit.

Moved here from PA where it was the same thing - Philadelphia wagged the dog there.

One consolation is all those DEM staffers who live in NO-VA are going to be vacating the premises and GOP staffers will be moving in.
