The demonic genius of the *resident (If I'm reading this right)
Self ^ | 11/21/14 | Self

Okay, if I'm reading this right, we have all been suckered in a big way and with an outcome far worse we thought. Ask yourself, where is the Executive Order?

So far, there is no EO. What he issued were two memoranda (see the link above). Both very vague, no concrete proposals or edicts. One speaks of assembling a "Task Force on New Americans" to figure out how to make our society and it's institutions more welcoming to the shadow people. The second invites proposals and ideas on "improving" the process for getting into the US.

Now, if this is it, if that's all there is by way of documentation of the scam, we are in deeper doodoo than we feared. We have in fact entered a period of Cosa Nostra government. By this I mean he has just gave a nod and a wink to the executive branch - whatever any agency wants to do is fine with him, it's all part of searching for that better way to handle this 'crisis'. Want to hand out EBT cards? Fine, it's just another way of reaching out. Driver's Licenses? Why not? just let us know how well it goes. Voter registration? Sure, let's see how that makes them feel more welcome.

Like the mob, the boss doesn't need to directly order the hit, just let the boys know that certain things are quite acceptable.

Anyone else read these the same way? Or is my tinfoil wrapped a little tight?

”… what one believes they heard is more important than what was said anyway."

Interesting. As mentioned in a related thread, it seems that all that Obama was interested in was for low-information illegal immigrants to see his lips moving.

Sounds like it. In addition, he has outfoxed the Pubbies in another way. We know the GOPe is in favor of pandering to the this minority group. They were all set to come up with a bi-partisan comprehensive reform package-hoping to get some credit with these people.

Obama just stole their thunder and ensured that the new voters already likely to vote Democratic had yet another reason to stick with the Democrats. Just another reason why he had to do it now-there’s only a few days left when Congress will be in session.

In addition he has ensured an additional approximately 5 million voters for the 2016 Presidential Election. Couple this with the movement in some states to essentially go by the popular vote. The dems are stacking the deck and playing chess.

The Pubbies are still trying to figure out how to set up the checer board. They haven’t had a really good strategist since Newt, and the last good Presidential candidate was Reagan.

Yep, he’s barging in to steal the credit- and upset the “grand deal”.
This blocks the pubbies plan to trade increased enforcement for amnesty.
Without increased enforcement (which would remove the illegals Obama is “saving”) no deal can be accepable to the Republican’s core voters.

TANSTAAFL when it comes to immigration enforcement- or anything.

And leave it up to his minions when they address the tidal wave to interpret as they see fit.

Exactly.

Obama’s EO is a nothing burger now the GOP will help him implement his plan with legislation to secure the border expediting removal, e-verify and penalties for hiring illegals. If you don’t let them cross the border they can’t claim asylum.

At least half of our illegal alien foreign nationals came here by airplane.

Unless we enforce the law and deport them none of this other stuff will make the slightest difference.

Where do you find the language that limits a pardon to past crimes? The power is absolute and he can word it any way he wants. If he refers to “the continuous crime of illegal presence,” he has it covered. There’d also be a double jeopardy argument.

Right now, the GOP can be outfoxed by a 3 year old playing the “I’ve got your nose” game. They make me sick. Other an a handful, they are not worthy of the office they hold.

Yep, too much credit. Whatever he is, he’s a lot more clever than our so-called representatives in DC and various State Houses.

“..not a genius but he isn’t stupid either.”

Exactly. Obama makes sure others are to blame.

Fron http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/pardon

"The Supreme Court agreed with Garland. It held that the scope of the pardon power `is unlimited, with the exception stated [impeachment]. It extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.'
