Officer’s compassion is commendable, certainly. However, examination of the first picture in this UK story (the only news that doesn’t get filtered by Ozealot MSM) shows a small child playing with a what appears to be a jug of bleach and some kind of cleaner on the floor behind them.

Just sayin’

Oh no, no, no!! Can’t let this story get out. It’ll destroy the mantra of how blacks are ignored and are the targets of every white police officer in the country!......(sarc off). I’ll bet the farm there are more officers like this one than the press and the race baiters would have have you believe. Wonderful story, wonderful man and God bless all of those involved. Merry Christmas!

I seriously doubt the family was starving. I can’t believe any story put forth by the media from any country. You simply can’t take the word of a member of the liberal media at face value. If the events of the past year have shown us, liberals can never be trusted to tell the truth...about anything.

Not to take away from this officer's good deed but it reminded me of a joke my Father-in-law just sent me:

Police Do Care:

I get irritated when people come down on our police officers, saying that they don't care about or respect others.

Well, here is a story that clearly shows that police do care, respect, and have compassion for people.

This story involves the police department in the small hill country town of Kerrville, Texas who reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the early evening in the Pedernales River near the state highway-87 bridge. The dead man's name would not be released until his family had been notified.

The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while "visiting someone" in Fredericksburg.

He was wearing black fishnet stockings, 10 inch spiked heels, a red garter belt, a pink thong, purple lipstick, dazzle dust on his eyelids, 2 1/2 inch false eyelashes and an “I Love Obama” T-shirt.

The police removed the Obama T-shirt to spare his family any unnecessary embarrassment.

So there ........................

Texas police do care.

Don't worry, someone will be along shortly to tell you how this was just a goose stepping cop's way of gaining control or something.

Drivers Get Pulled Over and Think Police Officers Are Giving Tickets. Nope Just Giving.

She was starving because she placed her full financial trust in the government. The government is the only fiscal entity that can unilaterally decide to drop its support of you at any time.

After all, who are you going to complain to?

She could go to a food bank or some other charity for assistance, but thanks to the Obama economy, many of these charities themselves are hurting. People who once gave to these charities are hurting themselves.

A friend of a friend is an assistant director of a local food bank. Used to be the clients were single moms, the unemployed, the homeless. Today many of the food bank's clients are people who once had good jobs, decent houses and were doing well. But some calamity occurred — an unforeseen catastrophic illness (and resultant medical bills), loss of good health care insurance forcing them to obtain dinky plans with higher premiums and/or deductibles, layoffs, loss of their homes and so much more. We can easily say, save money for a rainy day and avoid getting into too much debt, but the reality is that even those who have been responsible about money have exhausted their savings and with no money coming in, they are having to make hard choices — the mortgage payment or groceries, the hospital bill or groceries, etc.

While there are still a lot of irresponsible losers bleeding charities dry, we should not assume that everyone looking for help is a lazy lowlife grifter. Some of these clients could be your friends, neighbors or family members. They could one day be you.

I have heard so many stories of police reaching into their own pockets to help someone in need. It never ceases to amaze me. On top of this, lets understand that police in general are at a lower end of the monetary pay scale, and this is why many do overtime or outside work. So for them to give, and give, and give, at their own personal expense is overwhelming to me; and usually shows my personal lack of grace and generosity.

Around 1963 I was a kid living in Arizona. My mother had died and my father took to the bottle. Sometimes he would not come home for three days. I was the youngest of four brothers. They would send me to a nieghbors house to ask for food. The nieghbors would help. One day a Phoenix motorcycle cop showed up at our front door. A neighboor had called about us. He came inside and looked around our house and at us and just got back on his motorcycle and left. About 15 minutes later the same cop returned with a bag of lunch meats, bread, soda pop, chips, etc. We all dug in. The cop had gone to the local store and bought us food with his own money.
