Even Jane Fonda needs a reminder of her fabulousness. At 77, the actress is building a “shrine” to herself that she hopes will boost her recently faltering confidence. “I’ve found myself backsliding a bit of late in terms of where my thoughts have tended to reside (not always with the generosity of vision I wish for) and my confidence has been iffy for the past four months,” the stunning star wrote in a blog post Sunday, her 77th birthday. “So, while meditating today an idea came to me: I’m going to create a shrine to myself – or, at least, the self I wish to be, the self who began to manifest when I was a young girl before the s–t hit the fan,” she continued. The “shrine” will be a small place filled with items that remind Fonda of “the qualities that represent my best self.” So far, she plans to include a school report from the fourth grade. She’ll spend the new year collecting objects and symbols that “remind me that I’m brave.” “I’ve been forgetting that,” she revealed.

I guess since she committed treason in Vietnam (giving aid and comfort to the enemy), there will be no one to build it for her. Seriously, this is humorous in a way. Maybe the protestors will show up.

If Hanoi Jane croaks while Obama is still in office, there’ll be an official state funeral with burial in Arlington Cemetery, the grave to be guarded 24-7 by U.S. Marines.
Am I exaggerating? The Arlington grave of Teddy “Swimmer” Kennedy (from which Scotch fumes arise to this day) is continually guarded against those who think Mary Jo Kopechne died a cruel unnecessary death.

Barbarella is getting a makeover by Producers Dino and Martha De Laurentiis.
It seems that they’ve acquired the rights to redo the Jane Fonda movie and they’ve brought in Neal Purvis and Robert Wade to make it happen.
While you’re probably wondering why those two for the script, they did Casino Royale and since that was such a successful reboot perhaps they can also handle Barbarella.
No info is given on when to expect the film in theaters or casting as the film is in the very early stages.

She’s designs things herself. Who can forget her Atlanta apartment which was designed like a womb? Yes, you walked through a pink leg-looking thing, through the vagina, etc and into her living room. The photos may still be somewhere on the net. She’s insane.

He could only have Trotsky airbrushed out of Lenin photos, and the art wasn't advanced enough to believably put himself in the photos, but that didn't stop him from having himself added to historical drawings of Lenin events.
