After all this Joel Osteen nonsense, and embracing of Obama-can we finally put to rest the “daily Joel Osteen” threads?

Joel Osteen is a shill and/or an idiot.
Not like I’d listen to Osteen before, but the day he said he wasn’t sure that if Jesus was the one and only way to heaven was the day I discarded anything he said totally.

The sinfulness of man is what separates him from the love of the Lord. If he cannot hide in the rock of his salvation, the body of Christ, he has no hope of eternal life.
3/4 are condemned? No, it is much closer to 100% who will not see the Kingdom of the Father. Of 99 who stray 1 shall be saved.
There is nothing you can do to be saved. Each of us is condemned by our sin. None among us are worthy. No, not one.
If Jesus is a son as all of us are sons he is of no Hope to us. Only if He is the Savior, the Christ, the presence of God, the Father among us, only if he is God is Christ the source of our Hope in resurrection.
Does Obama know any of this? Does Olsteen?
Considering that Osteen has openly stated that he doesn’t believe that Jesus is the ONLY WAY, this comes as no surprise. Why people believe this fraud is amazing to me, but it proves what Jesus said that at the end people would turn from Him by following after those whose words tickled their ears. Osteen, if a true believer at all, is deceptive in his teaching about who Christ is. This is the sign of a compromising church. If he is not a true believer, those who are being “saved” are being saved into a false gospel. The problem not only is that it leads nowhere, but that it leads to spiritual death if one does not find the Truth before they die, or Christ returns. Personally, I find it offensive that he is posted to freerepublica.com.

I keep seeing this guy Joel Osteen’s name on threads. Who the hell is he? There is another guy who gets mentioned in threads all the time, but I can’t remember his name just now. Who are these guys?
I’ve listened to lots of preachers of various churches. They all have differences but most of them are recognizably somewhere around the biblical message. I can’t say that about osteen. Sorry about that.
Not to mention the very first, and only, post in his threads is about some moderator who will not allow any posts other than what the OP (of olsteen’s “devotionals”) approves.
