Thank you for the Joel R. update. His writings are uncanny in their accuracy and prophecy.

I know he’s not for everyone but I do enjoy his books. He wrote this on his blog this morning, which I thought was interesting: “As part of the research process I undertook for this novel, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with two former directors of the Central Intelligence Agency, a current Prime Minister of a key Arab country, a former head of the Mossad in Israel, and other political, military and intelligence officials and Mideast experts.

One by one, they pointed me to the real and rising threat posed by a group once known as “Al Qaeda In Iraq” (AQI), that was morphing into “ISIS,” and has more recently become known as the “Islamic State” (IS).

Though just one year ago this month, President Obama told a reporter ISIS was not a serious threat — that it was merely a “JV” team — my research and reporting suggested otherwise.

This is why I made ISIS the central focus on the novel.”

I’ve threatened Rosenberg to never mention me in his novels.... (just kidding)

He has a habit of writing too much stuff that comes true.

Yeah, certainly writes a lot that comes true. He definitely has his pulse on the region and is now a dual citizen (Israel/US).

I believe JR has a bit of divine inspiration going for him.
You should hear his interview about how he got started writing.

He’s a Messianic Jew IIRC.

I vaguely remember reading an excerpt from one of his books about the rapture happening at exactly the same second a nuke attack was launched at the USA.

I had read all of Rosenberg's books and was half-way through "Damascus Countdown" when he tweeted a call for the U.S. to bomb Syria because Assad had supposedly used chemical weapons on his people. Turned out that most evidence pointed to the Syrian rebels, not Assad. I stopped reading the book right in the middle.

Rosenberg has never recanted his ridiculous, hysterical call for that bombing regardless of my continued requests for him to do so.

IMHO, Rosenberg is a Neo-Con who pushes the NWO agenda.

That would be “convenient”, now wouldn’t it?

Those left behind would just assume that the missing folks died in the attack.

Hope it was better than his last series. That one sucked.

I'm absolutely sure he would have if he had received your emails. They probably ended up in his spam folder......

There was a science fiction/fantasy author also named Joel Rosenberg who passed away in 2011. He was also a 2nd Amendment activist. Different author.

It would be very convenient here, but for those missing around the world questions would start to pile up.

Bummer the deceased Joel Rosenberg was a stand up guy. Is this other Joel Rosenberg worth reading?

I have read some of his books in the Last Jihad series. They are fiction, but take current events into account and are written with an eye towards end times prophecies. I enjoyed them.
