I used to have a gif of that play, isolated on them. It was fun watching Shields drive him into the ground, over and over and over .....

The NFL is not too picky about who goes in the HOF. As a matter of fact have a halfway decent career and chances are you’ll end up in the hall.

Hell, Madden is in and he quit coaching very young.
When you think premier '70s QBs, Stabler is always up there.
Maybe an ass off the field, but who the hell cares?
