If you aren’t familiar with Kraftwerk check out “The Man Machine”, an album they released in 1978. This where today’s Techno/EDM comes from, and I don’t think it ever sounded better.

Never heard of them.

Just wondering what they influenced...

Hard rock from the 70’s was still in control, Disco was not yet born, and New Wave/techno was years away...

A Band Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of its time.

Used to zone out listening to Autobahn while watching my fish tank.

God times. Good times.

They deserve some recognition. I used to play Pineapple Symphony all the time, from the Ralph and Florian album.

Autobahn was a real game changer, never heard anything like it before.

I discovered their pre-Autobahn stuff when they used more acoustic instruments like guitars and flutes, some real cool stuff there.

This is my favorite Kraftwerk song,

Interesting that everybody has mentioned the post breakup Kraftwerk. For a listen to the early experimental electronic Kwerk try the 1973 double LP named (appropriately enough) “Kraftwerk” or something from the spin-off group “Neu”
